Hotel is very old & rundown. Room was not sufficiently cleaned when I checked in. Pubic hairs from the previous guest in the bidet, tiles in bathroom not mopped, carpet in bedroom not vacuumed. Shower screen did not close. Soap dispenser in bathroom was broken so I had to purchase my own shampoo to use. The only good thing about the room was the air conditioning. Note, you need to walk up a large flight of stairs to reach the elevator. This means carrying luggage up the stairs when you check in & out. The elevator is also very small & just fit my suitcase & I. Do not recommend this hotel & I would not stay here again.

Location was ideal but front desk staff was not responsive to simple requests for additional towels and a baby crib. Front entrance of the hotel is hidden by overgrown shrubs. Carpet on staircase was dirty and fraying. A very basic hotel with mediocre standards for cleanliness and customer service.

Location was AMAZING, room was clean but VERY tired. Peeling wallpaper and paint, the carpet stained and worn. I thought we would have problems with noise, (this is in THE EXACT middle of it all!) but the windows worked perfectly...quiet! It did have an elevator...bonus!!

THIS IS NOT A HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE LOCATION. The elevator and front desk are both on the first floor of this hotel. Not the ground floor when you come in, but the first floor that you must climb a set a stairs up to reach. This elevator also only fits one person The photos are incredibly misleading as they are all angled to make it seem like the room is large than they actually are. The bathroom is incredibly small and will have you bumping into something, whether it be the sink or the shower door. The front desk is in control of the AC units and they will turn it off in certain intervals, had to ask several times for them to turn it back on, and they had turned it off completely when they thought we had left (one of us stayed behind in the room) The floors were absolutely filthy in the corridors with garbage littered near the staircase on multiple floors. Location is decent in regards to closeness to landmarks but it is smack dab in the middle of a few bars.

This property puts you right in the middle of a busy part of the city. But the great double paned windows keep out the noise. Adjacent to Chatelet Les Halles (train, metro, shopping) you are minutes from everywhere. Also a very walkable location with plenty of things to see and do. *Be sure to plan ahead at the end of your days by picking up plenty of water bottles.

A clean, quiet and sufficient hotel with some character in a fabulous central part of Paris, that makes it a treasure. I’d recommend this hotel to others and hope to return.

Great location, extremely tiny room.
At first place I was sadly disappointed. The hotel is very old, and well worn. But the staff was kind and helpful, and the room clean. Now the colors are amazing because nothing matches. But with the kindness of the staff (they weren't very good in English, but they tried so hard you just had to appreciate the effort. The rooms are also tiny, but our bed was probably the most comfortable we had in Europe.

Great location, variable service.
The service really depended on the individual serving us. It ranged from difficult and sarcastic, to helpful and excellent. Location was excellent and right next to the metro and mall. There were bars at the ground floor, but due to the great soundproof windows it did not affect us. We had our rooms cleaned daily. Minimal amenities.

Nice location
Small old European size room in the heart of classic Paris and is inexpensive. You get what you pay for, and it was good for our access to airport and touring.

Excellently located right next to the metro and multiple shops. Multiple eateries around and open late. Real Paris with slightly less tourists as compared to Champs Elysees. The hotel was very small compared to what I’m used to which are American hotels. The elevator and shower were both four square feet in total. To even get to the lobby you had to climb a flight of stairs. To get up to our hotel room, my fiancé and I squeezed in with hardly any room and when we had luggage, we had to stack our multiple bags into one tower so we didn’t have to climb 5 flights of stairs. We were lucky we were skinny. The room had a very strong smell of spit as well. It made it hard to stay in. The closet, if you can even call it that, was about two feet wide with 5 hangers and two tiny shelves that didn’t even go all the way across. No room to walk around the room as the bed took up all the space and it was just a queen size. I highly advise you find a bigger hotel on the Champs Elysees if you are an American but if you are used to small European hotels, this is a decent one. We will not be retiring though because it’s just too small.

Great quirky base for sightseeing
This is a cheap and cheerful hotel obviously its 2 star. Small but quirky room in a great location which suited us as a base for our sightseeing. Reasonable cafe's outside, franprix supermarket very close in particular the supermarket salad bar was great! (we actually googled another franprix closer to one of the parks to take a salad and drinks for a 'picnic'.) Hotel is very close to the train station Châtelet–Les Halles, just make sure you use the correct exit or circle around the outside as it's a big shopping centre/station. It's a 10 min easy walk to the Louvre and we used the big red bus with river cruise 2 day ticket to see the sites. The room was cleaned towels replaced etc daily. Lift is small but we didn't need to use it. No problems and the real benefit of staying here was the 3 min walk into the RERB platform to take a 40 min train to CDG airport for 10 Euros, this was great peace of mind for the return home. I would recommend and stay again.

Wasn’t really “all inclusive”. Music on the resort was terrible to the point where other people had speakers out. They were then told to put them away. Not sure why when what everyone else was playing was significantly better. Food was good. The fact that I was expected to pay for a chair on the beach in front of the hotel is ridiculous and the gentleman who was in charge of the beach chairs was extremely rude.

Great location near downtown train station
If you are looking for a convenient place in downtown, steps away from a major train station, then this is it. Located in an old building, the rooms are small but functional, as is the bathroom. With so many restaurants around, I haven’t seen anyone trying their breakfast there. Ideal for backpackers and travels with small luggage.

Perfect location. No elevator, but else a nice hotel. Good beds. Can be noisy towards the street during weekends, but didn't bother us. Also Wifi worked well during our whole stay. Lots of places for food, breakfast just outside.

Basic room, good for price paid. In a slightly dodgy area but lots of bars and shops around including supermarket right across from hotel. Metro station few minutes walk away. Shower was tiny, but this is Paris! Very clean room. Good bed but no duvet. Windows shut out noise of street. I felt warm the whole time but my friend felt cold the whole time. Decor very outdated. Would be vastly improved with some investments in décor.

Small but lovely. The front desk staff were polite and helpful, and our room was clean and comfortable. This place is not the Ritz-Carlton, but we were not looking for a ton of amenities anyway. The central location was perfect. Close to Notre-Dame, Saint-Chappelle, the Marais shopping district and the Louvre. Longer (but very doable) walks to Musee D'Orsay, Rodin, and Montemarte. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Hotel - Internet slow for teenagers
Hotel location was great. less than a 1 minute walk from Chatelet les Halles metro. Close to Louvre, Notre Dame. Rooms were great, Staff was great. Only complaint were from girls that internet was too slow for them. Even though there was a restaurant just across from our window, you couldn't hear anything with windows shut. Overall this was a great hotel and will definitely will stay there again.

The hotel was decent. The room and the bathroom were a fine size for what we needed. However, we were there for 2 nights and they did not come to make up the room after the first night. And there were only 2 towels in the room. When we asked for another one, they did not have one to give to us.

I liked the location right on the RER from CDG, and also great metro hub for other lines, also in a great location for shopping, Franprix right there, Monoprix around corner and plenty of restaurant choices. Also a useful parking garage nearby. This property is a great choice for a practical, clean and pleasant stay. My room was small of course but what room isn’t. I’m staying there again.

Lovely old building in a convenient location. Cute TINY rooms with en suite. Narrow and winding staircases. Lift fits one person and one bag. Not a good option if you have large suitcases. Shame about the organisation of the hotel. When we arrived we were given a key to a room which had someone belongings in it.. and then we were changed to another room. Later in the night the staff tried to access the room we were in with the master key - they didn't know we were in it?! Didn't leave me feeling very secure.
