"This place sort of felt like you stepped back in time in the best way. It was so classic, cozy, friendly and personable. They properly set the table each morning for their continental breakfast of fresh pastries, bagels and yogurty with granola. The cleaning staff is so friendly and accommodating. Our friends stayed a few hotels down (their stay was over double the cost of ours) which was our original reason for staying here, but we would go back any time we head to Napa for how charming and welcoming this place was. "
"Originally thought about cancelling this reservation, so glad that I didn’t. Location was great, friendly staff, clean room and amenities. Surprisingly it was quiet being so close to highway and convenient parking in front of my room. Will definitely stay again . "

"I had a wonderful stay at the Hotel St. Helena. A beautifully restored 1881 historic boutique hotel captures so much of Napa Valley’s classic charm and history. The proprietors couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful.
My room was cozy and comfortable, The hotel has just reopened after a closure for restoration; preserving its original glory while bringing it into the 21st century .
This location is right on Main Street in St. Helena, walking distance to great restaurants, boutique shops, and wine tasting rooms.
Other thoughtful touches include a small garden seating area and a vintage style bar serving local wines.
