"Beautiful property and grounds. Excellent breakfast and easy walking access to a very nice town center with lots of shop and restaurants. A bakery on the corner that is to die for. Very nice room and staff was friendly. Great grounds with pool and sitting, picnicking and playing area for children. "

"Lighting a bit dim for reading in the evenings. Rooms beautifully cool, good equipment, everything we needed and lots of space. Nice outdoor eating area. Welcome was friendly and efficient. Beds comfortable. For four people an extra comfortable seat in the main area would be good. Good value for money though. Peaceful but only 10 mins from Buis."

As there was no lighting, and she was in an unfamiliar environment, she mistook the space above the steps to be the entrance to the bathroom. She fell down both steps and hit her arm, knee and head very hard on the tiled floor. The noise from the fall was significant. She seemed to be unharmed other than severe bruising. The following morning I reported this to 2 people at reception and asked them to log the incident in case of repercussions and asked that they put night lights in the room. They did not seem very interested. Later in the day I asked the Duty Manager if the report had been recorded and it hadn’t. I also asked him to make sure it was logged. We left after 2 nights having not received any formal type of apology, no night lights were placed in the room and no one even came to the room to see if we were safe.
On arrival in Spain my wife went to hospital for a head scan. Fortunately she seems to have escaped and serious effects. But this could very easily have been a fatal fall and the steps in question are clearly a hazard to life, health and safety."
