I loved our stay here, it was at the end of a lengthy trip and our grand finale. I feel like the reviews and images don't do this place justice. I've spent time at other 5 star resorts over the years and I enjoyed this hotel the most.
Outside: The hotel is right next to a subway stop and very short walk to another line. The taxi drop area was spacious, I never felt rushed. The entrance is pictured as the main image on the hotels.com page, it's much prettier and more grand than the image led me to believe.
The 1st floor is the welcome area, there is a temperature checking station (covid) and staff to make you feel welcome.
The 7th floor is the library and the lobby for check in/ check out. There is plenty of seating although we never had to wait when we needed something.
Our room was a Mini King on the 22nd floor. This mini was anything but mini! As you walk in, there is a fully private toilet with bidet, there is a luggage rack in the hall followed by a closet and a mini bar (fully stocked with snacks and a wide variety of beverages), the sink and shower is in it's own alcove, finally is the room with the bed and tv. There are two delightful chairs with a table between then, perfect for coffee and buns. The bedroom can be closed off by pulling a thick curtain. The curtains block out *all* of the sunlight, the room is sound proof. I wish my condo had this kind of sound proofing and I loved the curtains!
If you are on the fence, stay here! It's perfect.
