"This was my family's 3rd stay at this rental. Since it is obvious we like it a great deal, I will focus on the positive and try to think of any negatives along the way. The view is outstanding. The beach access through the woodsy path is easy to navigate (though it is a bit tricky to spot) and great for the younger, fitter travelers. For us lazy older folks, the quiet road is an easy walk through shade trees and dead ends at a lovely beach. The private beach area is underappreciated and usually deserted. This allows my dog to roam free more often than not. We have finally mitigated the hot upstairs bedroom with a simple opening of a window across from the view-window. The house is brilliantly appointed. Though quite small in footage, it does not feel cramped at all. Shocking there are 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.If you have a comfortable folding chair, you should bring it. I forgot mine this year and would have liked to have it by the beach fire my son built. The recliner couch is dangerously comfortable and each of my group lost a vacation day reluctantly napping. Comfortable parking for 2 cars. There are stairs to get in though either access, but only 2 on the backside. My biggest complaint is extraneous to the home itself. There are "sailers by the wind" washed up in MASSIVE quantities for the last 2 years. I do not know if this is because of the time of year, but my dog has taken a shine to eating them voraciously. Gross."

"This place is amazing. We have been on a 3 Week Rd. trip and we chose to be able to take a few days and stop and just relax. This place was amazing and just listening to the waves and the ability to just relax was such a gift. The sunsets were amazing. Every day is completely different and it is very private. We loved every single minute of staying at this space."

"Overall this was an amazing property with a fantastic view. Beach access was easy to get to. We had some confusion with checking in because we weren't sent the emails that we needed to finalize payment. The other issue we had was that the clothes dryer wouldn't heat up and it kept stopping partway through the cycle. We ended up hanging our clothes throughout the house to dry them. Overall, we enjoyed our stay."

"We were on our annual vacation with sis and brother in law and had the best time in this house! We enjoyed the hot tub with a view, a night fire outside listening to the waves, and then enjoyed local crab and prawns. The fully stocked kitchen made preparing and clean up so easy. Thank you for all of the supplies to make this so nice. From lawn chairs to spices this house has it all."

"Honestly, this was such a perfect little getaway. I wish we had spent more time there and less time running around. The property was clean and well stocked, except there were no extra trash bags--small thing and not a huge deal. I wish there had been a hose available to rinse sand off things, and while there was a hose, it wasn't usable for guests. My only real complaint is that as far as I can see, no where on the online listing does it say that kids under 10 are not allowed in the loft area, but the rules of the cottage say that when you arrive. Most people would plan to put their kids up in the loft in the twin beds, but the house rules say no kids under 10 up there. I would imagine that it is due to the steepness of the ladder (it's quite steep, so it's well justified). I just wish that had been stated in the booking description. I did recheck and was unable to find anything about it. We adjusted our sleeping plans based on this rule. Beyond that, it really was an amazing little cottage and we loved it. Also, no joke about wanting to back in to the driveway. Depending on traffic, sometimes we were able to and other times we weren't, so next time we left we just had someone watch to verify the road was clear to back out. All in all, a great place to stay and experience the ocean. "
