"Great value for money, we were very pleasantly surprised to have been upgraded to a family size room from a normal double. It was spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bed, and very close to the shops. There is a busy road out the front so maybe a back room will be quieter. All in all we would stay there again. "
"Nice staff, good pool facilities. A bit dated on the dining and bedroom facilities but well maintained. Location is a beautiful view and easy access to beaches and about a 15minute Mediterranean walk to restaurants.
Two issues need addressing: 1) poor wifi that is throttled and denies streaming 2) gym was mediocre and did not have any ventilation…but I was happy to have it! "

"Me and my husband stayed in room 1 for 1 night and we were blown away by the great standard of La Vieja Botica. The room was excellent, loved the interior. The bed and the linen was luxurious as well as the towels. The host was so sweet and helpful in every way. We would very much recommend this place and would like to come again.

"This place is great! Very clean. Comfortable bed. New bedding. Nice tropical decoration. Decent size bathroom and very clean. Microwave, kettle, toaster and free coffee and tea.
The owner is so friendly and helpful.
It's close to the beach and to the Centro. Nice restaurants across the street. Supermarket nearby. I made a good choice renting here. I highly recommend that place. "

"We had an excellent time staying at Nerja VG, excellent location walkable distance to all local amenities. If we return to Nerja we wouldn’t stay anywhere else - Paco made our check in so easy and our whole experience delightful "
"Food is pretty bad. The pool is nice and there are nice balconies in the rooms. The facility is a bit dated and things are pretty banged up. Its not 5 minutes to the beach more like 20-25 up a sognificant hill. "

The pictures show a beach but this is not part of the hotel and need to pay for beach chair and umbrella
Restaurants in the area are average and limited options for nice dining
No touristic attractions nearby
Uber is only transportation and very expensive
Most tourist attractions leave from Malaga which is around 45 minutes away.
There is an all inclusive option but if you don’t chose that, a meal would pay €35 per person
You have to pay €3 per day for the in room safe
The airport is around an hour away."
