Had an enjoyable holiday altho it was mostly very old people. Felt like an old folks home. At the end of our week stay, some younger people arrived, so maybe we went the wrong time. Many went several times a year, every year. The hotel is decorated in a Boutique style and very pretty. Was nice pool and chill terrace ( altho some didnt seem to understand the concept of quiet!). Food was good and plenty of choice. Was disappointed with the beach. The hotel is by the sea but it is rocks, and the beaches were unattractive, poor access to sea cos of rocks, and imported builders type sand. The evening entertainment was dated, but suited the older clientele. The maids were lovely, and swapped our hard pillows for softer ones. wifi was virtually unusable, so slow and kept cutting off. Most staff very amenable, but reception staff were mixed (some very polite and helpful and one who definitely wasn't). All in all a pleasant week, but doubt we'll return.
My first visit to Tenerife and I wasn't disappointed. The hotel and staff fulfilled all expectations and the resort had plenty of bars and eateries to suit all tastes. Will definitely visit Los Cristianos and Reveron Plaza again
We decided to stay here for the location more then anything. The hotel was very basic, the best very hard and quite uncomfortable however, for how much we were in the hotel we lived with it. The hotel is central, 10 minute max walk to the beach, 30minute walk to las Americas or 8€ in a taxi. Very close to taxi rank which are situated at the next hotel down (Tenerife sur) 1 minute walk. It is opposite a row of small pubs which a nice to watch the football and put on a cheeky bet.
The old fishing harbour teems with pleasure boats, fishing boats, and ferries chugging to and from La Gomera; a day trip here is highly recommended. To either side of the port lie two large man-made beaches. Although Los Cristianos is an unashamed fun-and-sun family resort, some vestiges of the old settlement remain amidst the many hotels, pubs, clubs, shops and restaurants. There are several attractions close by in Playa de las Américas.
