We really liked the hotel and were lucky to get a room on the 8th floor with the most stunning view .. the lobby and the hotel is very modern and looks better than on pictures the staff were very nice (specially Omar and Louisa ) views from the restaurants are amazing and everything exceeded our expectations.. food was also delicious and surprised us in a good way.. so tipping and signing bills after each dining wasn’t a big deal for us .. entertainment was great.. playground for kids is great - just be aware the kids club is from age 4 not earlier .. Only negative - was the water in the pools…didn’t look so clean Not sure if it’s because of the pool finish ? Everything else was perfect and we definitely recommend this hotel Thank you 🙏

Check in was reasonable and they gave a credit for amenities around the property which was nice. However upon completing the check in process we were instantly harassed by their “concierge” to get us to attend a timeshare pitch. Was angry when my group let them know we were not interested at all and then became more and more pushy. Rooms were noisy and had little noise insulation from the party crowd at times which made it hard to sleep. They were also dirty and in much needed of a renovation. I had little worms seep out around the molding from the shower EVERY DAY with no fix or explanation from the staff. Definitely showered with my sandals just incase. Since the property also had timeshares it was odd that we had to sign receipts for everything including drinks and meals. Some staff were slow and unfriendly but the majority of servers and other staff were surprisingly nice. Dinner and shows every night although cheesy they were surprisingly very enjoyable. Restaurant options were great I didn’t have a meal that was not delicious and was always worthy of the clean plate club. I did book a spa visit and got an 80min Swedish massage and have to say it was one of the best I’ve ever had. Let me say you definitely got an 80min massage not like big name brand in the states that cheat you out on time. (Looking at you massage envy lol). You also have unlimited time at the spa facility with a booking and I spent several hours just hanging out detoxing and lounging in the sauna.

Overall a decent experience. Housekeeping was great as well as bellhops. Food quality ranging from ok to good. Front desk not good. Unlike other departments, they lack the same customer service quality. Upon checkout we had incorrect charges, and a bit rude. First visit in Cabo we stayed at villa la Estancia, resort next door. MUCH BETTER. Villa del palmar is ok for someone not spending most of their time in the resort which we did due to having our baby with us.

Read the reviews and people were saying the food for all-inclusive was limited and not good. I would definitely disagree with their opinions. The food options were great and made to order. Not just a bunch of buffets. Bartenders were great and pool service was good. Pool service could have been a little faster not enough of them for the number of people at the pool. Room cleaners came through the rooms at least TWICE a day and always made sure the room was clean and stocked. It was the first time I ever left a tip for house keeping. Grounds were kept up and very nice. If you are not going into town to eat I would definitely suggest the all-inclusive option ahead of time as the prices would have forced me into town to eat.

For our first trip to Cabo we were really impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel and grounds. The service at the restaurants were okay but we were also okay to wait a little longer since the view was so amazing. Very close to the marina for shopping, nightlight and restaurants among other things to do. Overall we would stay here again. Thank you!
