They would not allow me to rent the room. I was told that my boyfriend also needed an ID, and when given to the woman she didn't believe it was him.

No frills motel but great for the price. Very clean but we only had our room cleaned once out of a 5 day stay. Office was very responsive when we needed clean towels. Great location. I will stay here again.

Wonderful hotel for the price! highly recommend
this hotel is perfect for a weekend stay! it was exceptionally clean, the ac worked wonderfully, management was super welcoming and friendly, 15 minutes TOPS from universal studios and overall had a wonderful stay. if you are looking for a affordable choice for staying in LA, this is a wonderful choice. the only thing that wasn’t perfect was the limited parking. but it wasn’t anything crazy of course! i would absolutely stay here again.

Perfect filming location for scare
Was not the best experience location was about the best thing killed about five baby roaches. Sheets look like something from American horror story dirty with stains in my hair. Room smelled of spices asked for another room was told by the owner to go back in my room and have my phone conversation. This was about 10 o’clock in the morning.

Hotel is nice, I wouldn’t mind staying again. The hotel from the street view looks like a roach motel but you can tell they renovated it, after you get drive inside it looks better. The room itself was nice and clean, some stuff looked like it needed some attention. The Parking is free but only limited spots so get their soon, other then that it’s good for a night or two.

Best budget hotel in Thai town, hands down.
My daughter and I stayed for just over a week. The room was clean, ZERO bugs of any type, spacious, the linens were also clean. Although it is classed as a budget hotel, the A/C was awesome, a tv with so many channels, free wifi and a shower with amazing water pressure and no issues with hot water easily elevated it. The area is fine for a base camp from which to explore LA. There’s a Target one block away, Walgreens, - great for picking up snacks, liquids you couldn’t bring on your plane, toiletries etc is also a block. Food options include two taco trucks within a block, - try Leo’s opposite Target, 3 chicken & pineapple tacos for $7:50! Thai restaurants, fried chicken etc. IF you are using the transit system, there are excellent links to Hollywood, Santa Monica, Melrose, Fairfax, Echo Park and Silverlake. Mani and her family were so kind to us. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We checked out late and we were able to stash luggage, do our last minute shopping, return and use a room to change, repack and prepare for the trip home. The hotel was safe, zero issues with homeless or theft, - rooms and cars included. Yes, the walls are a little thin, but we heard more low flying helicopters than noisy guests. I highly recommend you check them out, LA hotel rooms are not cheap, but some are better value for your money than others, the Economy Inn is, imo, great value.

Staff is typical foreigner owners from India. Very difficult to understand. They lost my ID and blamed me for it, but eventually discovered there was a miscommunication between the husband and wife. I got my ID back but very rude process.

Amazing location at affordable price
A good hotel at a central location with Chinese Theatre 45 min walk away and a Target one block away. Quite a few eating places also available. Overall a good choice.

Lesson Learned
Stayed here for 2 nights. Didn’t Know The Area We Were Staying In. Areas Not The Best But We Were Fine With It For Just The 2 Nights. Got To The Room After Check In & It Could Definitely Be Cleaner! The Curtains Had Huge Dark Stains All Over, The Bathroom Was Dusty On The Vents & Shower Looked Gross! Had Mold Spots All Around The Top. Floors Felt Like there was Dirt / Crumbs All Over & The Closet Was Kind Of Dusty As Well. Definitely A Lesson Learned!

It was conveniently close to universal studios, parking isn't great, and there was hair in the pillows and in the bath tub.

Horrific. Large stains and pubic hairs one the bed. Black mold in the shower all over. Very unsafe neighborhood. Beds are a concrete slab. Large gaps in the front door. Just dirty and awful.

Low cost hotel near Hollywood strip
Picked this hotel for its close location to Hollywood and Universal Studios. Also 3 minutes walk to Target and Walgreens. Flight in didn't arrive until 10.30pm so was expecting a very late check-in. Contacted management prior and it wasn't a problem for them. They were helpful and polite throughout. Room size was good and having a fridge was handy. Shower pressure was great. Only minor issues were that the beds were quite soft, but this is personal preference, and there was no mirror in the bathroom. Parking does seem limited but I fortunately never had an issue finding a space during my 3 night stay.

A little bit overprice for the old property but they are clean, I love that they are near a lot of Thai restaurants and Thai street food, I love Thai food. Just have to be careful at night because they have a lot of homeless around this area
