I stayed one night and my experience is excellent, the staff was really friendly and professional, also the room was very clean and it seemed recently updated, the location is very close to the tourist attractions

The cost was alright, the place was clean and people very nice. It just wasn’t what we expected. It was fine for 1 night. Very noisy though, refrigerator was loud, we ended up leaving at 5am

The good- Check in was smooth. Front desk person was nice, and the parking lot had a man making sure only guests could park there, and he was super friendly. Its an older building, but the lobby and room were updated. The room itself has had a lot of work done to it, and you can tell the owners are investing into the place. Had a great Thai restaurant right at the entrance. Its been there for years. The food was great, and the local Thai community also seems to love it for breakfast. The bad- Got a phone call from the frost desk in the middle of the night, saying i had parked in a handicap spot and needed to move my car. Being that the area isnt the safest, this made me uneasy to begin with. I went outside to find that my car was NOT in a marked handicap spot. In fact the 2 marked handicap spots were empty, i was completely across from them on the other side. The office person came out and told me i was too close to the (unobstructed and clear) path. He told me another guest had complained. I should have taken pictures. So at 1am, in an area of town thats not really safe, i was forced to move my car to another area that was not lit, with walls i couldnt see around in the back. I didnt see any cars with handicap placards or marked plates. And no one parked in handicap spots. Barely slept the rest of the night. Checked out in the morning and went somewhere else.

Location is not the greatest - we started to walk in the evening and their were tents for homeless nearby. The room was pretty clean, the bed comfortable but not the pillows. Okay for an overnight stay. (Close to Kaiser which was a benefit for us.) The manager was friendly.

If your opinion on the neighborhood we are in is "unsafe" to you then I suggest not staying in Los Angeles. As far as "worn out" that is a stretch but we are taking steps to remodel all of our rooms.

The overall stay here was satisfied,except when I was checking out. I got into the office but nobody was there. I left the keys on their desk,then I couldn't get out. The door was locked. We shouted,no one come to help. After a while,I found a door behind the desk to go out. While I was moving out,a young staff run to me,yelling at me angrily without listening to my explanation. How could he behave like that?He shoud apologize for locking me in their office for a long time. Actually the old manager was very nice and helpful,only this young staff made me feel very bad,I shall never come to this motel anymore.

The aesthetic of the motel could use some much needed cosmetic upgrades. Check-in was smooth. Beware if your party has more than 1 vehicle: the parking lot is limited & the spaces are compact. Street parking is available. The room I was assigned to (214) has some cosmetic damages from previous guests, the ac/ heater unit is loud, the mini fridge is loud as well, cable channels are available but limited (I used my laptop to watch my shows), and the light for the bathroom flickers before settling on. My favorite part of the room was the artwork of DTLA above the bed. Beware the walkways are a bit slim especially when the maids’ cart sits in front of the room door for an extended period of time. I did find a small piece of a balloon in the bed sheets and the soaps provided (hand pumps) were low. For $350 I had a little higher expectations (the pics shown were misleading). I think the company should invest more profits into the cosmetic maintenance to increase their property value and quality. Based on the aesthetics and price, I would not stay here again.

We have never charged 350 for a night ever at this hotel... Our cable has on demand channels over 100 channels. Unless your shows are on netflix or a streaming service like that you should be able to find it. Maybe it was a 350 charge for your entire stay. That would make sense. multiple days together may add up to 350... this is a mis leading review. Also if you cant fit through the hallway when a maids cart is here you can walk the other way. Our hallways are not one way. thank you for your financial advice but it is not needed please keep that to yourself. AGAIN WE DO NOT CHARGE 350 FOR A SINGLE NIGHT.

I stayed here while visiting a brother who was in the hospital. The motel was walking distance and provided a comfortable place to stay. While the place is dated, the room was very clean and had a comfortable bed, good shower, and cable television. the staff was friendly and very helpful. I was so impressed that I recommended the motel to a sister who came into town after I had left. She stayed there and was similarly impressed.
