The villa is located on the Aretine Chianti hills, in a lovely countryside area at the foot of Pratomagno mountain and along to the historic Romanic road called “Sette Ponti”. This is an old farmhouse originally built in 1806 and carefully restructured with particular attention at the maintenance of its exquisite rustic features: wooden-beamed ceilings, terracotta floors, original wooden windows, antique wood-burning bread oven. Externally, “L’Oliveta” Country Villa is completely surrounded by hectares of typical terraced olive groves and offers complete well-being and leisure to our guests by playing in the pool, reading in the garden, relaxing in the jacuzzi or enjoying the wonderful view over the Arno Valley and the Siena’s Chianti hills from our panoramic terrace with barbecue. It is at the top of a hill and has an amazing view overlooking the valley. You must have a car to get from the house to nearby towns and attractions. The road to the house is one lane but pretty easy to drive and we had no issues navigating in the region with GPS. Communication and check in/ out was very easy. We took a cooking class at the house that was well worth the money. The villa could easily sleep a large group and was clean and had all the amenities we needed. We wish we could have spent even more time there. It was great to get to meet Matteo and learn more about life in Tuscany at the end of our stay! We’re so glad we spent time here. ##### Arhanti S. Située à 20 minutes en voitures de San Giovanni Valdarno, on peut se rendre facilement en train à Arezzo et Florence en uen demi-heure. Sienne et San Giminiano sont à moins d'une heure trente en voiture sur les belles routes du Chianti. La petite piscine et le jaccuzzi sont très agréables ainsi que les multiples terrasses. La maison est bien équipée, pratique et confortable. Les propriétaires sont affables et très disponibles. Les commerces sont à proximité à San Giovanni, Loro Ciuffenna et Montevarchi. Si vous voulez profitez de la campagne toscane et de ces villes, la ferme villa Oliveta est parfaite! ##### Tiffany P. The pictures given fully reflect the property as it is. It is well situated to visit nearby cities such as Siena, Firenze, Monteriggione, Radda in Chianti, etc...even the nearby outlet Mall in Leccio for those interested:-) Sufficient utensils in the house. The owners were very friendly and took there time to explain some points of interest to us...would like to formulate a special thanks to the owner and his wife ( local doctors office) for helping our son out...we didn't even have to wait...we appreciate it very very much! "Maison idéale pour passer de vraies vacances en Toscane car située dans un cadre magnifique et exceptionnel, ayant un jardin spacieux et très bien entretenu, des oliviers, des plantes et des fleurs à profusion. Location correspondant parfaitement à nos attentes : très bien équipée pour 14 personnes (vaisselle, électroménager : lave-vaisselle, cuisinière, lave-linge), rien à dire. Les enfants ont bien profité de la piscine et du bain à remous (jacuzzi) : un vrai bonheur. Nous avons également apprécié nos petits-déjeuners et dîners pris sur la terrasse panoramique, ce qui nous permettait d''avoir une vue imprenable sur la vallée du Valdarno.
