Overall a good experience although it was discouraging when the staff gave me ordered wine that they said was Chardonnay when it wasn’t. Just being honest would have been nice.

Just beyond the property is just flotsam and jetsom. If you lny look internally, great, nice property. Restaurant was pretty basic.

This hotel will not honor Expedia’s price. I stay here 4 to 8 times a month. The manager tonight, whom I’ve never met was rude and wanted to turn me away because I insisted on paying the price on Expedia. Horrible horrible management !!

It seems to be hotel policy to turn off walkway lights after a certain hour at night. We were leaving before sunrise and it was hazardous negotiating stairs and pathways where the lights we turned off.

Disappointing - no shower - no compensation
The guy who checked us in was nice as was the restaurant staff. The property was beautiful BUT, we had NO showers. The water was turned off in Mulege and Tripui's back up had such low water pressure it was useless. Our friends had no shower and their toilet would not flush. We had been traveling for 3 days. There was no heat and it was bitter cold with a draft in our roof. I ordered the chilaquiles for breakfast and they were so hard / tough I could not eat it. We were told we would be compensated for the lack of running water, and but the owners / managers have now offered us a 10% discount on our next stay. We have reached back out to them with hopes they will reconsider our discomfort and offer better customer service than a pitiful 10%.

we love it here! feels like an oasis and love the kitties/doggies running around. restaurant has excellent fish in lemon cream sauce, and nice hot served breakfast. only negative...bathroom meeds some updating and more cleaning. tile the wall around the toilet area would help greatly.

Nice looking hotel but pool is closed
We arrived after driving 35 minutes down to this hotel, which was in the middle of nowhere in Loreto, a taxi ride to this hotel costs $56 one-way from the airport, and it would cost probably more going back because the taxi driver hast to come all the way out there. When we arrived, we found a ghost town no other guests, no one in reception, and the pool was completely empty of water and out of service. I was with my husband and three children they were completely brokenhearted that there was no water in the pool, and it was 90° with humidity. They told us thankfully that they would cancel our reservation, so I have no issues with the service. My main issue is that the information on my booking was completely incorrect. This was an expensive trip out to this hotel for nothing. This is a huge deal! DO NOT BOOK HERE unless you know that the hotel is going to have all the amenities It says it’s offering. Because it is way too expensive to get out there via taxi or shuttle to find that the hotel is not as it said it would be.

We stay here often. This trip the restaurant is was terrible. Never before have we had bad food, but this time it was bad. Tortilla soup tasted like water with a little tomato, steak tacos were tough with no flavor and guacamole had no flavor. Really disappointed because we typically love the food at their restaurant

The accommodations were very basic, and felt a little like adult summer camp. The restaurant was very good, with very good service, but expensive. The staff was very responsive and accommodating. Good for a one night stay on a road trip.

Too far (30 mins) from Loreto to be a convenient base for it if you want to go back and forth to your hotel during the day. Very few dinner options (and the hotel's restaurant is mediocre at best). Our room was full of dead crickets. The thatched roof look good but super noisy. And finally the staff goes not speak a lick of English. So a ** experience

Next Time Somewhere Else
We had a reservation but both the first and second room of the type we reserved had not been cleaned from the previous guests. Ended up in an unsuitable room. Stairs and hallway lights were not on. Dark and dangerous stairs. The place must be struggling and I can see why. Too bad as it has charm if managed well.

Too expensive, bad service at the restaurant: we arrived at 7:30 AM, they don’t open until 8 AM. Even though we were the first to arrive, they served other customers first. There’s no one at the front service at times, not the value we paid.

This is a very pretty, quiet spot. The property is well maintained and the staff were pleasant. The restaurant was good, rooms were roomy and quiet. It is a bit out if the way but very close to the spectacular marina. If you want night life -- not the place. If you want a good stop over, or just some r&r, I'd highly recommend.

Great little place close to marina, only bummer was you had to be by office to get internet. None in the rooms. Staff was great. After a 1200 mile sail it was heaven!

The pool area is very nice as are the views of the mountains. The restaurant is good and it is the only option without driving quite a long way. There are no stores anywhere nearby so need to come prepared. On a Sunday night it is very quiet which is exactly what we wanted A very nice place to overnight on the way to Los Cabos.

This was our second visit to Hotel Tripui. The grounds are lovely and it is so nice to have a private patio outside our bedroom. Breakfast is included in the price making this part of the day easy. We enjoy dinner a few minutes away at the outdoor marina restaurant. And gasoline is available at the marina too.marina

The area was nice. But the service in the reception was horrible as well in the housekeeper. The room was never clean correctly. Missed to put clean towels, no hot water. Coffee machine was not cleaned daily.

Cute little place slightly off the beaten path, we only stayed one night on our way down to the tip of Baja. Restaurant had great food and margaritas. Pool was very refreshing. Comfortable room with plenty of room for our party of 3 plus a dog. AC worked great. our room wasn't near our truck but the property was gated so we felt secure and safe knowing our truck wouldn't be broken into.
