The location was excellent. Proximity to Ned's Beach fabulous, and, for a non bike rider it was an easy walk to everything I needed. The young hosts were very pleasant and friendly. We thought kitchen crockery, glassware etc was a little tired and perhaps a little sparse. We were aware of Covid constraints, but a little update in that area would be a nice touch.

Due to Covid, we have extra cleaning measures in place to keep our guests safe, which has increased our room cleaning time. Because of this, we have removed some items from our apartments but more items are available on request. This is mentioned in our compendium and during the check in process. Besides having all one would expect in a holiday unit, Lorhiti has its own access to Neds beach. This is fantastic for an evening snorkel or swim. Our third visit to Lord Howe and by far the best run establishment. Will definitely stay here again.

Lorhiti was amazing So relaxed, low key and tranquil Waking up to an ocean breeze, watching the local forest from the bedroom window, hearing the amazing birdlife in the night, the close walk to Ned's beach... was exactly what we needed to unwind... would highly recommend and I would go back in a flash

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location for getting to Ned’s Beach (just a few minutes walk) and into town was only about a 10 minute walk. The accommodation was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Even the gardens were beautiful and well maintained.

Lorhiti Apartments were great. Immaculately clean and lots of thoughtful details. Host Kathi was lovely and very helpful. Close to Ned's Beach and a comfortable walk down to the LHI "CBD".

Lush tropical gardens, newly renovated, luxurious king bed, privacy. Could have used a few basic amenities like paper towels, tissues, cling wrap, cooking oil etc. But apart from that, stunning!!

Beautiful location, gardens and convenience to Ned's Beach. Comfortable bed and ample supply of equipment for all our needs. Good laundry setup. Some minor issues like small very enclosed shower and out door lounge furniture used inside plastic and cold. Also analogue tv.

Nice place to stay, good value for money
Nice small apartment to stay on at Lord Howe Island. Very close to good off the beach snorkeling at Ned's Beach. Owners/staff were very friendly.

Picked up at the airport and did a quick pass by of points of interest before arriving at our unit. Very clean and tidy and well equipped for our stay. Breeze lovely through the unit. A lovely paradise. Close stroll to neds beach. One minor hiccup. A steep little hill to get to the units from town. We would recommend this property.

There is really nothing not to like about Lorhiti Apartments; they are amazing. The units are clean and the amenities are perfect. The location is perfect. The people managing/running the property are unbelievably friendly and helpful. Transportation to and from the airport was perfect. Everything was. I would highly recommend Lorhiti with no reservations or qualifications.

Bucket list for exercise fans - lord Howe
Lorhiti is placed conveniently to all activities and provides its own private pathway to Ned’s Beach famous for its snorkeling and fish sighting. Kathi, Lorhiti manager adds to the holiday with her ‘nothing is too difficult’ attitude and happy demeanor. Bucket list holiday with 3 star accommodation, within the price of the average holiday maker provider cooking though purchasing food on the island is expensive.

Exceeded all expectations
Our apartment had every single thing we needed to cater for ourselves. Loved the front and back door access to the stunning gardens. The beach access and tranquility of Lorhiti was simply superb and just so peaceful. The most fantastic thing of all was the supreme service and friendliness of Kathi who assisted with all our queries, picked us up from the airport, provided a mini tour enroute to our accommodations and so much more. Seriously I cannot rave about her enough. Thank you sooooo much Kathi. You are an absolute gem!

Lord Howe paradise
I loved Lord Howe Island and really loved staying at Lorhiti. My apartment was fully equipped with a kitchen, so I was able to self cater. Lothiti itself is ideally located, within walking distance to Neds beach, and a fantastic coffee shop down the road. Everyone is super friendly and I would highly recommend this accommodation

Our little home in paradise
Warmly welcomed by the owners, beautiful setting - spacious living area. Lovely little deck to sit on off our room and lush green lawned areas front and back with gazebo's, and lounge chairs out the back. Rooms are so well fitted out with everything you will need for a comfortable stay. Our living area, in room 1, was quite dark due to beautiful garden in front of it. Didnt bother us as we were outside all day every day, and I am sure full shade would be appreciated in summer - we were there in winter. The 5 minute walk to Neds Beach is priceless - paradise on our doorstep. Highly recommend.

Best place to stay on the island!
Such considerate, helpful and friendly hosts, Kathi and Fletch make sure your stay is truly special! Lorhiti is so comfortable and relaxed and in the perfect position to enjoy the best snorkelling on the island. And although there’s a hill in the way, the 2 shops are close and convenient. Should have stayed longer but will stay again :D

A peaceful Retreat close to Ned's Beach
Fletch met us at the airport and gave us a guided tour of local amenities on the way to Lorhiti. While we waited for our apartment to be ready we were in the 'Transit Lounge' - what a great idea! with toilet, shower, local information and refreshments to purchase if required. Our apartment (1 of only 6) was bright and clean - looked like new. The kitchen was fully equipped with little extras like umbrellas, dressing gowns, sarongs. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Shower had everything with lots of hot water at good pressure. From the back door a private track led to Ned's Beach - < 5 mins away (where the fish come right up to you). There are BBQ areas, outdoor lounges, laundry. The internet connection was very good. Transport to restaurants in the evening. All the staff were helpful, informative and responded immediately to any issue (we had a broken coffee plunger, replaced). Overall was exactly what we wanted and would highly recommend.

Fantastic place to stay, loved the private access to Ned's beach and well equipped kitchen. The apartment was spacious, with a large comfy bed and beautiful gardens. Was great that they provided sarongs, bathrobes, beach towels etc as you need to pack light on the dash 8 flights!

A week in Lord Howe Island
My wife and I enjoyed Lorhiti apartments.. our unit - number 1 was the most private - clean and had all amenities needed for a great stay. Di and son Fletch were friendly and helpful.. as a 66 year old 191cm 95k man I particularly enjoyed the comfortable king size bed! Go and enjoy! Eric

Very nice facility, though we happened to be on LHI during a very warm time frame in early February. A lack of air conditioning led to very warm evenings, as the ceiling fan did little to alleviate the warmth and humidity.

Thank you for choosing to stay at Lorhiti . We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay . We have just experienced our hottest month with record breaking temperatures . Unfortunately due to power restrictions , air conditioning is not allowed on the island, nor is it usually required . We had 3 weeks of unusually high temperatures which had the whole island commenting . Unfortunately this seems to be common the world over . Fortunately we are back to pleasant / normal seasonal temperatures of 27o. We do hope we can welcome you back again soon.

A Paradise of perfection
Very enjoyable, our hosts thought of everything from and were so friendly and helpful from the welcoming pick up from the airport to popping over with a little slice that the owner had freshly baked. It was lovely having own very own private track down to Ned's Beach, and a lift to the restaurants each evening, and we were offered a lift back from the actual restaurant that we went too but preferred to walk back after the lovely meals. Lord Howe is just a paradise...and we really enjoyed staying at Lorhiti and would definitely stay there again

Lovely setting, surrounded by beautiful gardens
Everything is very tastefully done, our welcoming hosts thought of everything. All the comforts are there, to make a stay very pleasant, nothing is missing! Wish we could have stayed longer, really loved the place! We were greeted with freshly baked muffins, chocolate on the counter and a bottle of champagne in the fridge.

Great spot to stay on Lord Howe Island
Nothing negative to say - staff and facilities excellent. nice quiet peaceful place to stay. Is a bit of a slog up the hill on the bikes several times a day but worth it.

Great Place to stay on a wonderful island
Clean, convenient, close to Neds Beach, and friendly. If you want a quiet and comfortable place to stay this is just the spot.

Great place to stay
We stayed a week in this well appointed apartment that had everything you needed, all you have to pack is your clothes and toiletries. Beach towels, umbrella, back pack all provided. It was spotlessly clean and the surrounding gardens were beautiful and well maintained. The transit lounge is a big plus and the honesty system for wine, beer and nibbles is great. The location is also great a short walk to Neds beach through a private access path, also walking distance to village facilities, restraurants/cafes as well as the Top shop where you can get fish/BBQ packs to self cater or take to the beach where there is free electric BBQ's. Everyone was very friendly and helpful which always makes a stay more enjoyable. Would recommend.
