Nice price with bed bugs

Posted 28-Jun-2017
We were bitten by bed bugs and even saw them crawling in the bed. Informed staff didn't really care.

Good proximity to key attractions of Chattanooga

Posted 31-May-2017
Pros: Proximity to the attractions of Chattanooga (Rock City, Incline Train & Ruby Falls) and very close to Walmart
Cons: Ambiance, Sufficient power ports, breakfast options and keeping rooms with good fragrance
Location: Very close to the key attractions of Chattanooga - Rock City, Incline Train & Ruby Falls
Knights Inn Chattanooga is close to the attractions of Chattanooga (Rock City, Incline Train & Ruby Falls) and very close to Walmart. So you can get the required groceries easily and plan your trip to the main attractions. It was a bit difficult to trace the location through GPS. So keep a close watch on the name board to reach the hotel. The ambiance of the hotel is not great. We were skeptical as we found some of the first floor room windows were covered by polythene covers. Fortunately we got our rooms in second floor and the rooms were decent, except one of the rooms was a bit stinky. There were not sufficient power ports for charging. The available ones were not fitting our adapters and I had to use the power port used for Oven. This can be addressed by the hotel management. The breakfast options were very limited. It would be great if they could offer cereals and milk in addition to the current list. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall a decent hotel (if you are not very particular about ambiance and high end facilities) and value for money.

Had Trouble Breathing. Worst Hotel Experience Ever

Posted 15-May-2017 on Hotels
Checked in for one night with two friends. Asked for a non-smoking room at front, got a room that reeked heavily of smoke. The room was left in an uncleaned state. There were trash and insects throughout the room and years' worth of caked dust on the lamp shades next to our beds. The bed sheets made me break out in hives. There was no WiFi information posted or noted. We aired out the room for a bit before going to sleep. That night I woke up multiple times having difficulty breathing. The walls were very paper-thin and there was nothing like hearing the sound of a neighbors' blaring TV all night. The AC also made random loud cackling noises. The beds were really uncomfortable and made our joints stiff and backs ache the next morning. It came as no surprise that the next morning we all woke up with little sleep, sore throats, and stuffy noses. Their "continental breakfast" consisted of vomit-tasting orange juice served from the hours of 6 to 9 am and nothing else (no bagels, cereal, or even pastries). The specified "indoor" pool advertised on their website was outside, downhill, and covered in tarps. The room we checked out on the website did not appear grungy or dated (looked modern and clean). Must've stolen a stock photo of a room from a random hotel online to trick guests into booking. Not worth the $58 dollars a night but we were tired and didn't want to go through the fuss of finding another hotel to stay at since it was late. So glad to be out of that awful place.

Charged more when I arrived. Reeks of weed. Sinks and TV's as lawn decor, trash was left in room, pillows filled with packing peanuts. No parking to accommodate trailers.
