We booked four rooms. In one of the rooms, the AC did not work. We asked to change, and we got another room. Apart from that, the rooms were clean. They had a little bit of a funky smell, but generally they were okay. Breakfast was very good.

Stunning property and a great location. Excellent restaurant with a vast selection of wines and great food selection and presentation. There is room for improvement in the rooms, the carpets are the same carpets that were there 10 years ago when we last stayed here and are stained and in poor condition in the hallway. The bed pillows are sub-standard foam pillows and only 1 per person. Even though this property has only a 3* rating, this is unacceptable and not in keeping with the hotels potential given the other amenities.

We stayed here while hiking the TMB and the staff was very friendly. We had to get up before complimentary breakfast the next day, so she let us grab breakfast items the night before. We had a small fridge in our room, so we were able to put it in there overnight. The hotel was in a great location especially when taking the bus for the TMB. The only downfall is that the shower head shot at the door, and it will flood the entire bathroom if you use it, so we had to take it off and use it that way.

Beautiful hotel located close to the basilique and the Roman theater. You can walk to Vieux Lyon and enjoy the old town. Great staff and great hotel. Highly recommended!
