Because this family works really hard and is improving things, only to have visitors come and break them or make messes outside. "This is a good family hotel option for visiting Estes Park. It’s in a good location, close to downtown but not in downtown. Easy to access the road to RMNP. Near lots of good food. I was able to run to and around Lake Estes easily (5 miles). The hotel itself has been renovated and updated since I first stayed there as a child! The pool and game rooms were big hits with my three children. The room itself was fine. I am shocked that they only have one elevator in the building but somehow that works. I like the added touch of giving us a s’mores kit upon arrival. Will for sure stay here again. "
