Worst hotel I have ever been to.

Posted 10-Mar-2017
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Get off EXPEDIA
Location: We left immediately
It is a welfare hotel. Section 8. It is disguisting. we never even stayed we checked in went to the restaurant, it was . We left went to Applebees came back and checked out. We were assured our money back, I have not been reached by expedia yet. This hotel should not be on expedia site. People are living there. Smoking at every exit. Smoke filled hallways.

The policies of this hotel are unfair .

Posted 06-Dec-2016
Pros: Great position
Cons: The policies and the attitude of the hotel staff.
I paid for a non refundable 2 days reservations and they didn't want to check me in, just because I couldn't show up the first day of my reservation. Fortunately the expedia staff helps me to solve this issue.!!

We found the clarion for the price to be excellent value staff were friendly and helpful especially bar staff. Rooms comfortable with everything you need. Only thing we found strange was the pool didn't open until 12. Other wise couldn't fault it

Clean, safe and close to the airport. The staff was friendly. Clean facility, but no phone in rooms.

It could have been a hospital, a scary one at that

Posted 29-Nov-2015
It took more than 10 minutes to check us in on a not-at-all-busy Friday night. Our room was on the first floor but no privacy curtain so I didn't dare to change in my pajamas. The walls were paper thin so we could hear everything from the live band performance to people shouting to other noises in other rooms. But the scariest part was that when we opened the hallway door, our noses were drowned in the smell of an old hospital. There was someone vacuuming the hallway at 10:00 PM, it felt like something bad has just happened. I was so scared I tried to sleep in my car for the night instead. This is NOT a 3-star hotel as Expedia claims.

the housekeeping that cleans the bathroom, needs to bend, and clean behind the toilet bowl. The bathroom left a lot to be desired. Bedroom was nice & clean

Eh. Needs some updates

Overall it was a night in a hotel. We stayed there for my boyfriends birthday so that we didn't have to drive all over the island to get home after a night of partying. The hotel is dated but in their defense is under renovation, which it truly needs. The bed was cozy. However the heating/AC unit was awful the room was very stuffy and the window cracked open only so slightly to be blocked by the curtains so no breeze was able to make its way through. There was tiny ants in the shower and the bathroom was very crammed. It wasn't awful but definitely not what I expect from a hotel.
