    5/5 Excellent

Conveniently located near Victoria station in a safe walkable neighborhood filled with many options for dining out and take away. The hotel is very well maintained and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Price was good. Room was next to the breakfast room, which was very noisy as from 7ish.

Do you like giant SPIDERS crawling on your face in the middle of the night? If so, then Victoria Inn is the perfect choice for you! I was not impressed with this hotel the second I arrived; it is outdated and dirty with a note at the reception about being wary of robbers dressed as cops in the area. Great. The room was as expected, gross and dirty (my bed's head board had a large stain and there were hair shavings on the bed), but I figured it was a short trip so I wouldn't complain. That said, in the middle of my first night, right as I was dozing to sleep, I felt something plop on my head and crawl. I discovered it was the biggest spider I have ever seen in my life (picture below). It was absolutely disgusting. I immediately packed my bags, the spiders being the last straw in an already gross experience, and booked at a different hotel. Best decision I have ever made. I travel back and forth to London all the time and have tried numerous hotels; i've never reported a complaint before. This was just so exceptionally bad I could not hold back. To make things worse, reporting this complaint to the management of the hotel was incredibly disappointing - the manager denied most of my situation and verbally yelled at me on the phone while trying to get a refund. It was the most unfortunate and disgusting experience at a hotel i've ever had. With every ounce of sincerity I HIGHLY recommend travelers stay clear away from here.

There were some dusts on the bed, I think maybe was the dust from the shoes during the cleaning.
