The staff are very friendly and helpful. The property is very clean as well. It might be helpful to includen room service to order meals as well as a wardrobe. Otherwise, it was a good service.

Lovely room and lots of mod cons. Was quite compact! Great location overall and hotel and room very clean. Only reason for not giving top marks is because the pillows were quite lumpy (we asked for extra which were lumpy too) and there isn’t much privacy when 2 people - you can hear everything in the bathroom

I great room to sleep in, but that's all. The distance from the edge of the bed to the wall is less than the length of an adult shoe, on two of three sides of the bed. The headboard takes another side. Small is small, but this is another level that should be more clearly explained. There are notes in the hotel that say if you need anything ask, but when you ask, it's not possible- no extra pillow, blanket, toiletries. Pleasant staff but don't expect more than a smile.

No tea making facilities nor water in bedroom. Suffered damp and mould smell in room. Hall carpet in LG level uneven with Carpet missing the skirting boards. Shower nozzle leaked/ sprayed out of top. Shower leaked so bathroom floor sodden. Not a nice experience. Z hotels 10x better.

Amazing Value For The Price Paid
The location is excellent, being around the corner from Spitalfields Market and a 5-minute walk from Liverpool St. Station. The double room I stayed in was small but was very clean, had a comfortable bed, and great blackout curtains. The shower had adequate water pressure and amenities. The staff I encountered were all very polite and pleasant. The bad: 1. I arrived too early for the 3 PM check-in so I wanted to check my suitcase while I went to work. However, the luggage storage was full so the concierge added a tag to my suitcase and said they will hold it at the front counter in the meantime and then will transfer it into the storage when there's room. When I checked in and tried to pick up my suitcase, they brought me to the storage room but my suitcase wasn't there. The concierge (different from the one earlier) didn't seem to know what to do and had no helpful suggestions, just a shrug. As it turned out, my suitcase was still at the front counter sitting unattended and could have been picked up by anyone. 2. Instead of having an iron and ironing board in each room, there's instead an ironing room at the end of the hall. There are two heavy duty irons, neither one was working well. I instead opted to use the laundry service app called LaundryHeap. Overall, a very good 5-day stay. I will stay there again if travelling solo. The double room might be quite tight for 2 people.

Self check-in/out should not be the default
They have moved to self check-in, which while might be a choice for some i would prefer not to do it. This is especially the case when a member of staff us seemingly standing around.

The worst experience
This was the worst hotel experience ever. In a very small room with no windows and no ventilation. There are no facilities in the room, not even a phone to contact the reception and you have to go downstairs every time. No one will clean your room for 3 days and you will not have a service in the form of clean towels or clean sheets. There is no kettle for boiling water or tea in the room and even in a city like London you have to bring your own umbrella. There are no utensils such as glasses or spoons and forks in the room and the size of the room is so small that there is not enough space for two people. The mattress and pillows are not hotel type at all and you will definitely face back pain. I am your gold member who has traveled to more than 45 countries and this is my worst experience among all hotels.

Dear guest,We are sorry to hear that from you. All of our room sizes are standard and we do basic services so there is no kettle and phone in the room which are mentioned on the website. We also clean our room every three nights as basic services policy, However, we provide extra towels and pillows upon request from reception. There are two glasses in the toilet and we provide free fork and spoons from our lobby. We will try our best in future.

Everything was very good other than size of room meant getting into the bed difficult as one side so close to wall/window. Also hairdryer in drawer difficult to use as lead on it too short for where was positioned.

Good basic hotel
It's good badic hotel. Rooms are small but clean. Shower is only overhead, which is same for ladies. Don't expect lie in as renovation works ongoing outside (maybe windowless room in that case). I was in a business trip so didn't bother me too much. Good location for Liverpool Street station. I've stayed here before and will likely return.

What a lovely place, convenient and easy to get access to where I was working....and I will be back earlier in the new year. The room was small...but then you kind of know what you are getting but don't see it until you arrive, but perfectly functionable. The in room TV signal was a tad weak and I could only get ITV... Thank the lord for good wifi so I could get channels on my phone through the apps I had.

Beware of this place. Probably not the safest hotel. The hotel maid stole my daughter’s jewelry. Multiple people were robbed that weekend. Police reports were filed. The hotel manager acknowledged the theft. However, after two months the hotel has not done the right thing and compensated the victim.

When booking an inside, or windowless room, be aware that it can be quite warm. Otherwise, it was quiet, clean, accessible and very well located. I recommend itif you want a budget option.

Small room but nicely designed. Double bed quite small. Lighting is modern but overly complicated to work with touch screen panels and mood lighting. Noise can be heard from underground trains, but only a distant rumble. Self serve check in, a bit of a pain but worked OK. Expensive breakfast. No bar and no drinks making facilities in the room. Location good for Shoreditch and the city etc

There were countless flies in the room. The room and bathroom were dirty and full of flies. This is not a hotel for business travelers.
