Modern hotel in good location

Most hotels in London are old English style, small with wooden flooring (hence noisy when one walks on it This hotel is modern, spacious, good-sized toilet. I like it. Breakfast can be better though.

Pros: Wait Staff
Cons: Change the management now.
Location: on Trafalgar Square and next to the Canadian embassy... near theaters. GREAT location.
We had a king bed and a rollout couch. They couldn't make up the rollout coach for our 3rd person without reminding. Couldn't bring 3 sets of towels on any day. Safe in the room failed daily. Breakfast room had more managers than wait staff. All terrific people working there, but from a management perspective, someone should be let go. When your visitors have to tell you how to communicate internally, you got problems. Great location which I think - they think - pardons their lack of management.

Nearly Perfect

The only reason I didn't give the Hotel Facilities question a 5 is because they were undergoing renovation. There were many times the elevator was out of order and we didn't have access to the rooftop bar (which I wanted more for the view than the drinks). Still, this was probably the nicest hotel I've ever stayed at. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and recommend restaurants/activities. They treated us like family. Hotel is in an excellent location, central to everything.

4 night stay - overall good. Minor issue.

Overall I was happy with the hotel. The location is second to none. Walk right out into the heart of London. The room was spacious, we had one of the renovated rooms, and it was nice. I was not impressed however that the hotel was under rennovation and I was not informed. Booking online did not highlight this, and in the morning I would wake up at 6am to the sound of circular saws etc. The front desk informed me that they were not to do work in the morning but for all 4 days I woke up to construction noise. Overall staff was friendly and helpful. But for the price I paid, I would have expected a more quiet experience in the morning.

Beautiful hotel, dusty sheets

Lovely room- amazing interior! Everything was clean to a very high standard apart from the bed. I pulled back the sheets and a lot of dust came from it. I think that's why I felt a little itchy and sniffly. (Minor issue but it needs to be addressed). Useful extras in the room: hair dryer, kettle, television, phone, storage space and as expected; bathroom cosmetics but they were very bad quality infortunately! Apart from the drilling in the morning (which the receptionist warned us that will happen as they are mid construction), and also the random knock very early in the morning from one of the room cleaners asking what time she can come to clean the room, I would say it was a pleasure to stay at the Trafalgar Hotel. Ps. The bed was enormous and the mattress was literally sent from heaven. Made for kings and queens!

Good location

The hotel has an excellent location and the rooms are clean and tidy. There was refurbishment being carried out which meant the rooftop bar was closed, this facility was my reason for booking this particular hotel so I was very disappointed.

Nice hotel, near of bus stops and many attractions

We came from Costa Rica and we were at the hotel just for 3 days and 2 nights, the hotel is really close of everything so we could meet all the city without any problem, you can walk to Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, London eye and Buckingham Palace.
