While the entrance is relatively unassuming, everything is sweetness and light once you're through the front door. The interior is a triumph of style from top to bottom, and there are some charming touches, such as the House of Hackney curtains in the living area and art deco furnishings. You also have the bonus of some outdoor space, a patio outside of the master bedroom. The space With Notting Hill Gate station just around the corner this 2 bedroom property is truly unique thanks to its access to a private terrace and garden. You can explore London to its fullest thanks to being minutes from all famous tourist attractions, yet at the same time enjoy a quiet morning or evening in the tranquil garden. Literally minutes away from Notting Hill tube station and all the local amenities on Notting Hill Gate. A modern open space kitchen and lounge are comfortable and stylish, with lots of nice touches. It's a designer's space! The bedrooms are on the garden side and quiet. However, please note that due to the property being on the basement level it has bars that obstruct the window and as it is close proximity to Notting Hill tube station, the sound of the underground can occasionally be heard from time to time. PATIO - Accessed via the master bedroom. It is connected to the neighbour's patio, so it's only partially private, but it's still a lovely place to enjoy your morning coffee. BUILDING - Please be aware that although the external of the building and communal areas are not very attractive and in need of renovation, the flat itself is lovely. The building management company have informed us of their plans to do some renovation work; this listing will be updated as and when the dates have been confirmed for this work in order to inform potential guests in advance. Steps from subway and restaurants and convenience stores. Walking distance to Kensington gardens and portobello road market. Perfect size for an adult and 3 kids. Only issue would be that you can hear every footstep from the apartment above so may not be for a light sleeper. Also little counter space in bathroom. The building itself is a bit run down which is probably why you can hear every creak but the apartment is a serene getaway within that space. Impressive decor and functionality. ##### E K.
