Solterra resort

We had a fabulous stay in the villa, plenty room inside for everyone. Outside area a bit smaller than I would have liked with only 2 sun loungers but didn’t dampen our 2 week stay. Highly recommend although the Solterra area was quite far from where we would normally book. The resort was a short walk and was fabulous, pool, lazy river and lots of seating/loungers

I made the reservation in the expectation that we would have the property to ourselves as stated in the fine print. Once I had paid the non refundable amount in full, I received an email that the property was for sale, that cleaners would be coming in every day and that potential buyers might be coming to view. On arrival day I got an email that the silicone grout had been done in the bathroom instructing guests not to touch it. Another later email said workers were in the place repairing a window. Not my idea of a vacation and I am out the money. We made other arrangements. Done with these deceptive hosts and with Expedia who could do nothing about them.
