    Very disappointing

    Don’t know where to start really .. the Hotel is at best a two star certainly not a 4 star. Lift not working and we were on the 4th floor, no towels in room apart from 1 hand towel, very shabby Curtains and soft furnishings, room itinerary not as stated ie no slippers no paper, tea and coffee not replenished leak stained walls, iron not working , unsafe electrics, hot buffet breakfast was cold.. None of this should detract from the hotel staff who did their level best to accommodate us under extreme pressure from the majority of the guests that were staying there. They were professional and polite ... We were moved to a better room for our 2nd night. The hotel is in need of serious renovation and updating and general repair Kind regards Julie Roberts & Harry Stock stay 6-7 October 2019

    The photos advertised show a quaint and beautiful decorated property. However what you get is a seriously rundown, dirty, and odd property with a revolving door of constantly changing employees

    The property looks like the pictures but not. The photos were either Photoshop or are older photos. The cushions in the lobby are obvious well worn. The room I was given was very large but there were no views outside the windows. There was no phone in the room. No hangers in the closet and there was a VERY large indent in the mattress as well as a few soft spots in the floor. The first day there I asked for an extra blanket and a few hangers. The young lady at the desk wrote down my request but they were never addressed. I complained about the room but the response from the staff was less reassuring. They were unable to accommodate my needs by changing my room until the next day and I had to remind them. I get into the new room and there is a large lump in the middle of the bed. Since they were so uninterested regarding my initial complaint I didn't bother complaining about the new room. The overnight staff was very kind and helpful but overall I was not happy with this experience especially considering the price per night.
