Don't eat in the Restaurant if a solo woman
check in was good, room was bigger than I thought it was going to be, I had 2 large suitcases plus hand luggage but no offer to assist me with the luggage.
I decide to eat in the restaurant, after being sat, I was given the menu and wine list, the wine I wanted was under a different grape and they didn't have in stock- how hard is it to reprint this page with the correct grape variety? Placed my wine and food order, and waited, and waited for my glass of wine, while the two tables on either side of me sat and got drinks before me. Eventually got the wine, I order a steak M/R, came M/W, could I get anyone's attention....no I was that hungry and tried just ate it, after I had finish I was asked if everything was OK, I was still waiting on the bread I had order with the steak as well. Was given the bill, wasn't ask if I wanted dessert, coffee etc I just felt unwanted as a single woman diner. I did ask for a dessert menu and coffee which was very good, and sat there enjoying this why the restaurant is being broken down around me!
the dining experience left a bitter taste in my mouth, the hotel was nice, room was lovely, but I could have stay in a lower star hotel and most likely be more welcome in there restaurant.
