Great for the long cocktail bar and afternoon tea experience. The spa is somewhat of a different spa experience with the long curtains for walls. Great location

Beautiful hotel with excellent service in a wonderful location in the heart of Fitzrovia with all the b restaurants, shops and theaters on easy walking distance.

Trying too hard to be cool

The Sanderson is well located and generally fine, but there were a number of oddities that made it feel like they were trying to hard to be cool at the expense of practicality. The elevator was done up to feel like you were in a galaxy in outer space. The halls were very dark, with just floor lighting at each door. The bathroom was a giant glass cube (very spacious) with curtains separating it from the bedroom, and the bed, for no apparent reason, was on an angle. None of this was a problem per se, but I prefer hotels that place more emphasis on substance over style - especially when the style is just silly.

Delightful, hip boutique hotel

Charming experience. Modern, sleek design, with lovely breakfast and private bar for guests. Comfortable bed, well appointed bathroom. Great central location. Warm, helpful staff. Young, upscale clientele. Highly recommended!

Excellent in every way exca apart from my stay being on Thursday when loud music spoiled a relaxing and beautifully cooked dinner. I feel I should have been warned. But outstanding service throughout and a truly beautifully designed hotel with a very special ambiance.

Hip but a bit tired - and grumpy!

Great welcome and door staff. Bar staff a little more rude than necessary - attitude not in order for a £20 cocktail. Rooms interestingly furnished, no tea or coffee unless you ask, no iron ditto and toiletries half full/pre used. Difficult to keep pristine white clean, don’t look behind the curtains as it’s getting a bit tired. An experience but probably not what it once was.
