Refreshing service in a nice central London hotel!

From arriving outside the hotel in the cab, to check out, we were very impressed. The doormen had a friendly tone, and really made you feel like they were having a great day. An infectious mood. We arrived around 11:30am so were not expecting to be able to check in - the room was however ready. The front desk were polite and efficient. After dropping out stuff to the room, we came down to the restaurant for Breakfast. The kitchen is due to shut 11:30 - 12:00, however our waitress spoke to the chef and got some omelettes made up. The food was great, and our waitress was fabulous. Other experiences in the bar / restaurant and for room service throughout our stay, were also good.
The room was clean, and spacious, with a very nice bathroom. The bed was at a slightly strange angle to the TV - but, I doubt many visits to London will be focused on that. The extra seating area in the room made it a nice room to hangout!
Would definitely go back and recommend this hotel.
