Central London Hotel

Posted 29-Nov-2016
Pros: see above
Cons: see above
The Hotel was charming and elegant as one would expect from an old traditional hotel. For the cost of a room I would have expected a more upscale room décor but more than expectable when on considers the amount of time actually spent in the room. My biggest complaint and why I would not go back has to do with the shower/bathtub combination. The tub is very high and deep and for a short person or the elderly it is very difficult to get into and once wet even more difficult and slippery to get out of. If this is not a concern the hotel is very nice over all.

Fantastich hotel

Posted 28-Nov-2016
Pros: Eigenlijk alles, beleefd personeel, uitstekend eten, prima service, mooie kerstversiering.

Lovely hotel in a great location for all of London

Posted 31-Oct-2016
Pros: Friendly staff, size and cleanliness of room.
Cons: A mirror near a plug point with a seating area. It was a little awkward finding a suitable place to dry my hair, it's just a minor point though.
Location: Covent Gardens, Soho and Picadilly are within walking distance, the immediate surrounding area has many cafes and bars to enjoy a light meal/drink
Beautiful hotel in a great location, ideal for a romantic city break. Hotel staff were all very attentive and friendly, even the hotel dog , Pearl, was attentive! Would highly recommend this hotel for a weekend city break.

Luxurious hotel in heart of the theatre district

Posted 11-Oct-2016
Pros: Everything!! It''s beautiful, friendly staff, great location. It even has its own mascot. Will definitely return !!
Cons: Just keep up the great work!!!!!
Location: In the heart of the theatre district so you can walk to plays, ballets, operas. Surrounded by centuries old bars with loads of charm.
We were greeted by a very professional staff whose friendliness enhanced our stay. The hotel was within walking distance of London''s fantastic theatre district. The dining room and bar are wonderful. Excellent cuisine, charming atmosphere and attentive personnel. Every convenience was provided in room.

Perfect location and fantastic hotel staff

Posted 26-Sep-2016
Pros: The service and Scarfe's bar
Cons: AC needs updating
Location: Museums, shopping and restaurants
The mark of great service at a great hotel is not, in my opinion, perfection. After all equipment fails and mistakes happen. How a hotel recovers from problems and attends to their customers is what discriminates good from great. The Rosewood is a great hotel. We arrived on the 17th and received a warm greeting and shown our room. We noticed it was quite hot and were told that this would improve. Well, this did not improve and over the next couple of nights we struggled to sleep in our hot room. The hotel did everything it could to correct the problem, but nothing really worked until the day we left. The service manager was very apologetic, gave us a discount off of our stay and a free future night at the Rosewood. In the end we were won over and the other fantastic features of the hotel (Scarfe's Bar, the food and the premium service) made up for the problems. We would definitely stay there again, but next time maybe on a lower floor (not as hot!)

You want to stay here.

Central location. The most comfortable bed I have ever found in a hotel. Excellent dining options -- esp The Mirror Room. My only minor criticism would be that there may have been too many staff members attempting to assist with check-in, which is certainly better than a long wait. I feel obligated to say more about their amazing Mirror Room Restaurant. I was completely blown away by the elegance of the space and the quality of the meal. Don't be scared away by the brevity of the chef's rather conceptual menu - the portions are not at all minimalist and the flavorful results of the herbal "themes" associated with each dish are unexpectedly bold and delicious. The staff was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent wine pairing suggestions which elevated the meal to a most memorable status indeed. Don't skip the dessert course - you will be depriving your mouth of a great reward.
