This hotel turned out to be a very pleasant surprise on our recent trip. By London standards, the room felt almost… spacious (yes, really!). The price included a solid breakfast—nothing overly fancy, but plenty of options and everything well prepared. The location in Kensington is a big plus. It’s nicely removed from the usual tourist crowds, so you actually get a glimpse of real London life instead of just navigating through selfie sticks. All in all, in terms of value for money, this might be one of the better options in London for families—at least based on my admittedly limited but enthusiastic research 🙂

Hotel was pretty clean. There was a little water damage in the bedroom and you can tell the building itself is older. Beds were comfortable and the room was nice. What really makes this hotel stand out is the staff. Everyone seemed to go out of their way to ensure our stay was great. Shan at checking was friendly and gave us great advice about the city at checkin. Breakfast was always busy but staff made sure to clear tables quickly so waiting was minimal. Overall we would stay here again.
