Modern Hotel at Seven Dials

Posted 31-Aug-2015
Pros: Comfortable beds, quiet rooms, free Wifi, excellent location
Cons: Not a lot to complain about here
Location: You're a couple of block from everything here - Covent Garden, Leicester Square, theatreland, Chinatown...
This was our second stay at this hotel - we live not that far outside London and sometimes stay for the weekend. This hotel has a great location for theatreland and Covent Garden. The rooms are London-sized (i.e. properly small even with a superior room) but modern and well appointed - very comfortable beds. I appreciate a quiet hotel bedroom and this hotel delivers this well.

Great location, but pricey

Posted 25-Aug-2015
Pros: Location, location, location
The location is great, right at the 7 Dials. The room was very nice, but small, especially for the money. I think you really pay for that great location, both because they charge a lot for their rooms, and also because it doesn't buy you much space. But the rooms are clean and well maintained.

Great location and vibe

Posted 28-May-2015 on Hotels
superb location right at Seven Dials and close to Covent Garden and tube stops. The area is bustling at nights with many people hanging out. The hotel bar is very popular on weekend nights. The low rise building gives an intimate feel, not corporate. Fitness room is adequate but not enough heavy free weights. GBP 15 credit at the hotel bar is a nice touch and the quality of breakfast is also excellent.

Room was small, they said when I booked in I had been given an upgrade and I had originally booked a mid range room. Dread to think what the cheaper rooms are like. It was overall ok but nothing to blow your socks off, the whole place looked a little tired. Staff at breakfast were not very friendly, breakfast its self was a bit sad, ordered the eggs benedict with salmon but it came plain so had to get my own salmon of the buffet, the sandwich ordered by my sister was filled with what looked like in cooked bacon. Overall over priced much better hotels in London available.

Great hotel in an excellent location!

Posted 25-May-2015
Pros: Everything! Would love to return!
Cons: A very minor quibble but the room service ice-cream had melted by the time I had eaten my main course (a first world problem if ever there was one!).
Location: Perfect for a visit to the theatre, many within walking distance and 'Matilda' is just across the road!
We got upgraded to a suite on arrival which was fantastic, so no idea what the business class room we should have had was like but the suite was gorgeous! Beautifully decorated and furnished (everything seemed very new) with windows overlooking the 'Seven Dials' of Covent Garden. I would definitely return and hope the less expensive rooms would be of a similar standard (if not size!).
