The upscale Angelsea pub is one block away with a popular outdoor patio and the best beef wellington. We have stayed at many high-end VRBO properties across the US and Europe and this is the best experience we have ever had, both with the property itself and the hosts. Jay and Margot were incredible and treated us more like family than a renter of their home. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed for a great stay in London. They live in the neighborhood, so their recommendations for local restaurants in Chelsea and South Kensington were all excellent. The home is beautifully decorated and furnished, and has comfortable high-quality mattresses and bedding and modern bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped with top tier appliances and all the kitchenware and glassware you will need. The private garden is lovely and a bonus that you don’t typically get in London. And the location is excellent, within a short walk to lots of restaurants and shops, a 10-minute walk to the South Kensington tube station, and a 20-minute walk to Hyde Park.
