Hostel type room. Although our stay here was without any serious misadventure (were were mother and daughter, quiet and respectful of the accommodation), there were a few things I found concerning. Check in: I was asked for my passport. As an U.S. Citizen we know we don't just hand over our passport except for an occasional copy required by some hotels. This being said I was asked to LEAVE it with the owner. I argued and my daughter left her ID. I was woken up at 11:30 that night with a request for the booking person's ID. I left my passport card not my book passport with the owner. Breakfast never arrived or was offered. Tried to use shuttle both to and from the airport but it apparently didn't exist or was an inconvenient day. Tried to contact them from the U.S. at the appropriate business hour, they never answered the phone. Tried to text, same thing. Train was close by but was late, never arrived or closed for construction (not the owner's fault obviously). At check out an inspection of the room was required by the owner before she would give me back my ID. Garbage was emptied once, I did it myself the rest of my stay. Towels were only exchanged once. The best description of how I felt during the time I spent at this location (7 days) is as someone who would run off without paying (I prepaid my entire stay), or someone who would somehow damage their property. Plus: Heater, tea, coffee, sugar, cups, kettle and refrigerator.

Simply put, this is the worst hotel at which I've stayed in my life. The managers engage in fraud and abuse of guests to line their pockets and fail to provide anything approaching customer service. I do not take these words lightly, and if you don't believe me, simply read the other 198 reviews about the "customer service" they provide to their guests. They are the rudest and nastiest human beings with whom I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with in 30 years in the travel industry. Upon arrival, I was subjected to literal screaming, threats, abuse, and suggestion that they would call the cops: this for the simple act of arriving to check into my room (which I had already paid for). They said check-in was closed. When I showed them the booking, which CLEARLY lists a 24/7 front desk, they had no response. Quickly they switched to "scam mode", first insisting that I hadn't paid for my reservation, and demanding cash up front. When I showed them my fully paid reservation, with receipt in tow, they switched to the next scam mode, now demanding exorbitant fees for additional services: for a "late check-in fee". I asked them where that was listed. Again, no reply. Then a further charge for a "key deposit." These are nasty, rotten, human beings who are stealing from their customers on a regular basis by overcharging, double charging, and inventing bogus fees. They should be put out of business.

Just a roof overnight stay
Friendly staff. It’s an overnight stay. With a roof over your head. Shower shared you have to put one finger on power button and shower at same time. Not good shower at all. Bring your own food and drink. Staff are friendly. Have to leave £20 cash or Id card for deposit for key. Returned when you exchange for the key when leaving.

Good location for an early flight
A room close to the airport - ideal for an early departure (or a late arrival). In the flight path - so don't arrive early expecting to sleep! Staff friendly and helpful. Room basic but has what you need for the night; benefits from free parking too.

The owner said I did or pay enough for my reservation, asked for $90 more, as I refused he kicked me out and said he will refund me for it, I never got any refunds, that place is a real scam, Expedia please do something about it as this is what is being happening at that location and will continue happening!!!

We made our reservation in July for September, I contacted the property twice to let them know that we would need a late check in, I never got a response but I read on several platforms including that the reception is 24 hours a day. We arrived at the property and all the doors were open (which seemed unsafe to me) but there was no one to assist us so we called the phone number on the sign outside the response from, I would like to believe the owner of the property, is that The reception has already closed and he is sorry but he cannot help us, to which I answer that we have paid for the room and that we have nowhere to sleep, his solution? I can't do anything for you, to which I reacted angrily like any person who was responsible for contacting the property in advance and told him that I would give him a bad review. After 15 minutes a small man comes out of the property who turned out to be the same person I spoke to on the phone offering to give us a room for an extra cost to which I told him that we no longer wanted to sleep there because honestly the place is a hole rotten. He reacted violently and everything led to a very agitated and horrible argument. the worst experience, if you stay here you will be treated with violence. Also I would like to this platform to have a bit of control where they send the people cause this was one of the most scary experiences I ever had

Charged a £20 deposit for the room key, which wasn’t made clear. The room stank of stale cigarette smoke, and the shower plug was blocked and nearly overflowed when I was showering.

I booked the property very late in the night, and landed at the property on 21st June at 3am ( night 3 am) I completely understand, it's an unearthly hour They first, DID NOT let me inside the property, then, DID not acknowledge the email booking that I presented to them They DID NOT give me the room They charged me extra by cash GBP 150 Did not give me receipt for cash payment Also, they swiped my CC twice So, I have paid to your company Plus GBP 300 to my CC Bank 90 GBP in cash to them 100 Euro in cash to them

For the Price of 140 £ the room had no toilet ,no shower!!! Worst place I have ever been! Shuttle Service is not available from Heathrow Airport as indicated on your webpage. Your webpage should be modified regarding London Heathrow Guesthouse!

I arrived at Heathrow airport and called their official phone number (to make sure somebody was at the front desk to let me in) and nobody answered. I kept trying to reach an agent for 30 minutes and no one answered. They didn't answer their phone during business hours. When I finally arrived by a hired ride an employee refused to let me into my room and tried to charge me a second time if I wanted a room. The company refused me a refund so I contested it on my card

Monica and Toni were very courteous, warm, and helpful with all our needs. We rented one bedroom with two beds and one bathroom/shower. Very clean. Breakfast was home-made English breakfast, served with a smile. Furniture a bit old. Not a Hilton or a Hyatt. But that is part of the charm (and price).

Listing says "24/7 front desk", but the night manager would not let me check in after 10pm. Since they are in the middle of nowhere, I tried to sleep in a chair in the front desk area. That is when they called the cops on me.

Its a bit strange. Its very basic, appears like some people live there on a more permanent basis. But the bed was comfy, there was tea and coffe, even a little kitchenette. I wouldn't use the shower unless absolutely necessary! Overall for a quick stay to catch a plane at Heathrow it did exactly what i needed

The staff is very nice and friendly, and it was very sweet that they had milk in the fridge for tea, but the bathroom condition was a bit disappointing. I didn't have any problems taking a shower, but when my partner did, he couldn't get hot water and had to have a cold shower. The dryer on the wall looked rusty and not good, the mattress was too firm, we weren't sure that the bedding was fresh, sockets were placed in inconvenient locations. it was an okay place for one night, but I wouldn't stay there longer unfortunately

On first arrival, the gentleman that checked us in while pleasant kept coughing and was not where a mask, given the current pandemic this was very off putting. The room was very small and cramped. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. The toilet had a strong smell of sewage. The shower was the only redeeming part of the room, however it was a very high step to get into the bathroom which is not suitable for people who cannot lift their legs well.

Had to wait in reception while room was prepared. Was asked if I wanted to upgrade for & £10 before I'd even seen the room I paid for. Even though I had breakfast included I was told this would be an extra cost! Room itself was tiny, cobwebs in the window, TV looked like it had come out of the 80s.left the next morning itching like hell. The shower hose was damaged and the cubicle overflowed as there is a blockage. Definitely won't be staying again.

Was a relatively cheap stay, half the price it usually is. Would of been fuming if id paid full price. Beds were hard, pillows flat and old, quilt felt like it was decades old or just the cheapest money could buy. Fridge was filthy all round the door and handle. There was no do not disturb sign. Not to mention your literally on the flight path centrally. Although that i coukd of lived with . Stayed 2 nights, never again.

Fine if you want to be locked in and burgled.
The room when I eventually saw it was clean and as advertised. Likewise the rest of the place that I was able to walk around. However, when I arrived there was no one to greet me. The hotel was unlocked and I was able to walk around unchallenged past all the rooms and upstairs. I had to phone to find someone and was told that that day they had changed check in time but hadn't told anyone and it would be another 10mins before a cleaner could get to the hotel. 10mins of unchallenged burglary time! When a woman arrived, no apology for no one being there, or failing to notify of the altered time, just a demand for ID which she wanted to take away with her. I refused. Suddenly a breakfast became extra and when I asked about the front door being open, I was told it got locked at 11pm - but was given no key for it. When I asked, I was told that I needed to be in a different room for that. I was then told that I asked too many questions and was told I couldn't stay there. hen we went outside, she locked the front door and I had to remind her about health and safety for the other guests being locked in or out.

Was an emergency replacement when a B&B overbooked and had no room for us. Out of the way, in a residential area, between Windsor Castle and Heathrow, with no restaurants, bars, entertainment near-by. Rooms were unfortunately not suitable and we rebooked at an airport hotel instead. Owner said he could not cancel our booking, but expedia would do it, so there would be no charge (still have not seen the credit 2 weeks after contacting Expedia). Owners seemed polite and understanding of our desire for a more suitable area, so I do expect a credit to follow.

Booked to stay at this guest house and when we arrived the man took us down to a shallet room what was freezing cold with no signal on phones or WiFi.... We asked to be moved to a room in the guest house which he did move us to a room with no working TV but that was fine for us but they was white marks on the curtains (I dread to think what they are), boogie wiped on walls., the shower was broken off the wall, freezing cold water n couldn't get warm, it smelt fusky in the whole of the guest house. Also IT IS NOT FREE BREAKFAST! apparently u don't get no continental breakfast.... Just a hot drink in the morning is what they called as breakfast so we got conned into paying £7.50pp for breakfast what was really poor with hardly anything on the plate... Literally 2 small cheap sausages.... 2 wafer thin bacon rashers.... Beans and egg... Owners did seem welcoming just was the state and condition of the gust house and the fact online it says breakfast but actually u have to pay for it and its very poor! I usually am easily pleased and I don't expect everything to be perfect but they was that many things wrong I had to leave this review.
