Not up to the usual Marriott standards.

Stayed 1 night for a special occasion just after Christmas. Booked this hotel because of the pool & spa facilities. Sauna and Pool area is great, though the steam room could do with being hotter. Spa sessions were fully booked, though we only saw 1 therapist the whole day, which isn't enough for a Spa Hotel. Nice room overlooking the racecourse. Had booked for dinner, however, was told in the evening there was a problem with the gas supply and they couldn't do a menu service. Instead there was a buffet of salads and what looked to be oven heated frozen food - It wasn't great. Breakfast was just about ok, though nothing special and could have been a better selection. Check-in & check-out took ages, as apparently their computers kept hanging.
