One of the best hotels I have stayed in London. The only glitch was that when checking in the desk failed to mention that I had received an upgraded room and when Hotels.com asked me I said no which resulted in a call from the manager who also sent me a bottle of Champagne. I loved the comfort and service of this hotel and will return.

Overall pleasant stay however we had several issues through our stay which makes us wonder if we will visit again. We stayed in hotel second time, the first stay was perfect hence we booked it again. This time the check in took a bit long on arrival, we didn’t had the complementary wine in room which we needed to chase up. The Bluetooth system to connect your phone was a bit clumsy and was disconnecting while playing music, electric blinds time to time didn’t work as well as table lamp we coudnt switch

Fabulous hotel in a prime location. All staff were polite, helpful and friendly but unobtrusive. The room was elegant and exceptionally well appointed. We had a great view of Regent Street St James but due to the very good triple glazing we could pick and choose whether we experienced the sounds associated with such a position. The spa is a must as is breakfast! We were wowed by the staircases and lifts too! Thank you to everyone at Cafe Royal for the lovely little touches that made our 10th Anniversary a real treat.

Negative: small bar with slow and unhappy service - felt like we were doing them the favour being there. Have a look at the Ned if you want more onsite entertainment.

Lovely stay in the hotel cafe royal, in a perfect location for exploring theatreland, shops and cultural London. The room was stylish and people working there were all friendly and efficient, particularly notable were the lady who checked us in and a lady who served our breakfast on the last day. The spa facilities and staff are excellent. We had an amazing breakfast included but were unsure if there was an extra charge for the cooked element but there wasn’t. TV in the bathroom mirror is a smart idea, tv in the room is a little small to see from the bed and we couldn’t work out how to get subtitles. But this minor thing didn’t spoil our five star stay.
Super friendly staff and no better location for a stay in central London. Room was beautiful, very large for a junior suite, furnishings and decor merge perfectly with the stunning building. Food delicious. There are no negatives about this hotel!

My husband and I spent 7 days to celebrate our mini moon to London. We decided to stay at cafe royal hotel, from the day we arrived we felt so welcomed by all staff and the interior was out of this world! Our room was spotless and decor was stunning! My favourite part to the room was the bathroom! If you are considering staying here DO IT! You will not be disappointment.
One of the best experience as far as customer service and willing to accommodate and answer any needs one might have. I suggest relationship hotel have with restaurant cakes and bubble need to improve .
Overall loved everything
Dont forget to use spa facilities and the swimming pool .
