good location , with some minor stuff
I wasn't able to walk around too much, I was here for a short 3 days rushing in & out. Nice Lobby entrance, and attentive staff at front desk.
The staff was really helpful. My mom asked for help a lot - so thanks to the staff for the great assistance with questions and forgotten toiletries.
The washrooms - so small, by london size yah a smidge too small and the tub's old but all things are serviceable.
Tons of rooms, so it is a LONG walk to one room if it is on the other side of the elevator - they could've just opened up a couple of rooms in the middle core so people can walk through and not have to drag luggage along the very RESISTANT CARPET. what a muscle work out.
I'm not too fond of the coffee cups and coffee at the bottom shelf - dust and all when people walk around et al.
A bit inconsistent with the type of brand consistency of the shampoo/ body wash.
The airconditioning worked well, so there's no stuffy feel in the room 448. My mom had to move from the first room when she checked in first, because no AC. It would be nice if the rooms were checked first. Would be nice if housekeeping or someone checked the rooms were all in working order - toiletries, coffee pot, AC.
Close sainsbury local which was great.
Less touristy area,there are some homeless people or 2 within 10 min radius - you'll have to see them at some point in a city like london

We are glad you enjoy your stay with us, specially our location. All our rooms are checked before a new arrival by our team to make sure everything is up to Holiday Inn standards. The A/C system could be a bit sensitive and I am happy it worked perfectly in 448.
