Great designer hotel in Marylebone
Lovely, cosy hotel with very comfortable beds in a prime London location within walking distance of Marylebone High Street. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. For food options, we didn't think too much of the onsite restaurant, but plenty of other options nearby.

Firmdale Hotels are the best!
Firmdale fan and this was my first stay at the Dorset Square. The manager could not have been more accommodating and the staff incredibly friendly.

Its a nice but very small hotel , the bar was closed when we arrived at 1020 pm which was disappointing as we had nowhere to finish off our evening , rooms tiny and bathrooms way too small for me.

One of the smaller properties in the Firmdale stable but featuring the same great interior design, service and personnel. Potting Shed restaurant maintains Firmdale standard for great breakfasts.

The Dorset is small but absolutely first class. Luxuriant pillows and towels, extraordinary staff, beautifully appointed. My grandchildren called it a doll house but we loved it.

Double glazing plus secondary glazing made triple glazing and totally soundproof. Floorboards did not squeak. Efficient heating. The view over the skyline, square and road was compelling. Very close transport links with Marylebone station and Baker St underground, buses on Marylebone Road and Gloucester Place. Handy local shops and interesting area to explore.

You need an additional desk in the Drawing Room. One person took it over and I couldn’t get near. I had to attend a Zoom meeting with my laptop on my lap. Also, you need a large No Smoking sign in the Drawing Room. I spied and smelled a smoker—your staff told him to stop, but it still smelled of smoke for a few hours

What an absolute treasure this property is! This was my first stay at a boutique hotel and was more than impressed by what it delivered. Very comfortable room (great bed!) with nice touches in the bathroom (heated towel rack and flooring). I also appreciated the nightly turn-down service and bottle of water placed on the nightstand. The Potter's Shed restaurant was another delightful experience! Delicious food, beautifully presented and served by very attentive and personable staff that made you feel like family. I was able to widely sample the menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner over the course of my 6-night stay and was never disappointed. The setting of the property across from a park and it's close proximity to two tube/rail stations (Baker Street and Marylebone) just added to it's strong appeal. The front desk staff were warm, welcoming and extremely helpful from the moment I set foot in the foyer. A complete winner!

Very clean and helpful staff. Demitru from the front desk went out of his way to help us locate personal items we left behind in the cab, even after we checked out. Safe to say he was almost more distressed than we were. Thank you!!

High marks all around
I make this same trip to the Regents Park are every year & have stayed at a number of hotels in the area. The Dorset Square Hotel is, hands down, the nicest one I have experienced. Everything from the decor to the comfy bed to the very friendly and helpful staff - high marks all.

A Firmdale Favourite!
Many thanks for another great stay at Dorset House. We love this hotel as it’s the attention to detail that’s amazing, and the creativity of the decor. Also Edita at the front desk was so helpful and upgraded our room which made it special. Handy for Harley St ( me) and Lords cricket ground (my husband!)
