"Nice hotel, would definitely stay there again."
This hotel has a great location for walking ( to several museums, Harrods, South Kensington centre).
Room clean, almost no drawer space, but that wasn't a problem for us . Deep tub, we loved, accessibility due to height/ depth might be a problem for some. Hotel had 2 storey units available.
The Tube station is around the corner with 3 service lines. There are numerous restaurants within 250m, there is a grocery store in a building across the street , as well as a drug store and money exchange. We felt very safe at night. There is a beautiful, large grassy garden behind the hotel ( only down side was the number of smokers at times). We had 2 adults and 2 teens and arranged for a cot, the cot was a twin size, room beds were doubles ( beds were firm).
We took 4 day tours with Premium Tours UK, and 3 of 4, had our hotel as a courtesy pick up, and dropped us off as well.
As a family with food sensitivities we found gleutin free substitutions in restaurants ( pasta, pizza dough, breads) almost non existent .
Our only disappointment was the poor dollar exchange and the higher prices (£3 for a small soda, £8-11 for a salad, typically lunches for 4 cost £ 40-50, dinners £50-65, no alcohol and mostly ice water).
