Perfect for the airporr

Posted 22-Apr-2017
Pros: Proximity to airport
Cons: Free WiFi in the rooms rather than going to a crowded noisey lobby
Location: Airport access
In this day of on line activity it's disappointingin when this hotel feels the need to charge for WiFi in your room restaurant was good and room was clean

Quiet Rooms

Posted 20-Apr-2017
For an on airport hotel( 8 min walk to terminal) with jumbo jets taking off more or less directly over the hotel, this hotel is amazingly quiet. There is a shuttle available cost £3.00 for 3min ride to terminal. If you want to do an overnight bag drop, you can stroll back to the hotel for the evening and in the morning you can stroll up to the terminal. Parking is £25 for overnight. Worked out fine for us. Obviously not quite as convenient as the terminal hotels Would use again.

Nice hotel close to the airport

Posted 19-Apr-2017
Pros: I like the hotel's close proximity to the airport, which makes the commute quite easy. I find the coach service to the airport quite convenient too.
Cons: The cleanliness of the bathroom.
Location: I only stayed one night, hence I didn't have a chance to experience anything inside or near by the hotel.
I was met by a very pleasant attendant at the hotel's reception who was very professional and helpful.

Great hotel at a great price

Posted 19-Apr-2017
Pros: Clean, tidy, nice room
Cons: Nope
Location: You could walk to terminal building (North)
Did a one night stay before an early flight to Dubai. Had 2 double beds in the room. Check in was quick and efficient and check out was lightning fast. You could practically walk to airport terminal building (North) should you desire (and have no car). Hotel is just off the roundabout (nr McDonalds) as you enter the airport perimeter Weren't there long enough to use any of the facilities but room was clean tidy, modern and comfortable. Thumbs up from me!

Walking distance from airport.

Posted 15-Apr-2017
Pros: Convenience for airport and the room itself.
Cons: Make shuttle and wifi free of charge, and put carpet down in reception area.
Location: Fly!
Once you find the first indication, the walk, taking 8 to 15 minutes depending on your pace, is safe and well signposted. That's as well, since the hotel chrages for its shuttle - £3 for a two-minute ride! When you getbthere, the reception area is incredibly noisy because of the tiled flooring. I found it really embarrassing to have to lean over the counter and ask the quietly spoken receptionist to repeat herself several times. When you look for the wifi code in your room you find you have to pay! And they don't say how much. Astonishing 'economy' for such a hotel chain! You can get it free if you sign up for their Rewards scheme, whatever that may be, but you have to go back down to that difficult reception area to do so, and anyway you only qualify if you booked direct with them. I hadn't. I decided to manage without for the few hours I was there. Bar prices for food and drink are high. Overall, the hotel's convenience is great, but I expected better facilities of such a so-called quality group hotel.

Typical airport hotel

Posted 14-Apr-2017
Standard airport hotel with high prices for food and parking. Nice clean rooms. Food was average. Pleasant staff who speak good English. Nothing remarkable.

2017 and no Wifi!

Posted 05-Apr-2017
Decent hotel but for having to pay 10-14 pounds to get there from the airport for a three minute drive and having to pay if you want Wifi, I'd stay somewhere else if you are just looking to other night.

Poor gym and parking

Posted 03-Apr-2017
Pros: Food & Room
Cons: Gym & Parking
Location: Excellent
Disappointing to be charged an extra 25 pounds per night to park the car. even on the night I was staying at the hotel. The gym was very poorly maintained (not at all). The equipment was not very old but clearly has had no attention as was in terrible condition. The food was very good in the restaurant and the room was excellent.

The best deal I could get close to the Airport

Posted 24-Mar-2017
The Hotel was OK but Its miss leading about the internet. I am on business and needed the wi-fi, then found out that it cost a basic £7.50 However, if I joined the hotel club, the Wi-Fi is free. I dont want to join any more clubs, I am sick of my data bieng harvested and sick of the constant flow of marketing emails, I know thats what it would have involved. To top it all there was no phone signal due to the soundproofing, as its close to the airport, this I understand, However, this should make it doubly important to have good strong free WI-Fi I ended up getting frustrated by this and will not stay there again, next time I will use the holiday Inn, more expensive maybe but they have free WI-Fi
