Disappointing stay

Pros: Room decor, food
Cons: Check in and out speed. Bar staff service. Bar comfort and temperature. Free wifi.
Location: Handy for Gatwick south terminal, 10 min walk or you can use the coach
Check and check out was extremely slow. The room was fine and nicely decorated but the TVs was not working properly, we fixed it but the picture was terrible. We were ignored at the unstaffed bar for ten minutes but restaurant staff. The bar area seating was not cosy and there was waves of cold air coming off the curtain wall windows. The food in the restaurant was fine and the service was OK there too. But the biggest drawback was that not only was there no free wifi anywhere in the hotel (£12 per session) but there was no phone signal anyway either - this alone would stop us using the hotel again

Pros: It was very close to the terminal.
Hotel check-in and checkout was quick and it was a 10 min walk from the terminal and signed posted well.

We only stay one night but the staff was good and hotel was close to the airport Getting the bus was not fun, They should invest in a shuttle and have staff help with the bags.

Pros: Walk from South terminal Gatwick is easy and well sign posted. Quiet room - no aircraft noise.
Cons: Internet you have to pay for - no free wi-fi available anywhere in the hotel.

Easy checkin, staff helpful, comfortable room. Internet is not free unless you sign up for Marriott club program, which I don't agree that I should be forced to do as every hotel supplies free internet nowadays and you don't have to sign up for anything. Also watch your room door when you leave to make sure it closes properly.

Great location, Ridiculous charge for WiFi

This hotel location is about a 5-10 minute walk from Gatwick Airport which is great. They offer a shuttle, I believe they charge around $3-5 for each way, which you can forego since the walk is quick and easy. The one downside is that they are charging 7.50 pounds for an hour of internet and 15 pounds for 12 hours. If I am paying over $100 a night to stay at a hotel I expect to at least have wifi included in my stay.

Pros: There were no "bests" in this stay. If I had to say something, I guess it would be - lication to airport.
Cons: Check in - couldn't understand the woman. No smile, no greeting. Room was dingy, although decent size. Bathroom layout was awkward. Breakfast was WAY too expensive and staff were unpleasant and not helpful or friendly! No one told us that we could walk to airport and so we paid 6 pounds to ride a shuttle.

Pros: Close to South terminal, within walking distance. Nothing else springs to mind unfortunately.
Cons: Additional charges for wifi and other amenities, which I didn't expect as the hotel was quite pricey already. The room was smaller than I anticipated, and the corridor was noisy and doors/walls thin, so not a lot of sleep was had.
Location: Convenient for airport, but other hotels are closer

Good for one night stopover

Long wait at check in - more staff needed at reception to deal with long queue. Some irate customers as 'elite' members pushed through to the head of the queue cauding an even longer wait!! Perhaps a seperate desk for 'elite' members would be useful??
