Location was reasonable walking distance to Gatwick and a paid shuttle service was available. The only thing that I can fault the hotel on, and this is a big thing in my books, is the internet access. In the Lobby, free public wifi, in the rooms, you can only access the guest service which was dear. In my opinion this should be the other way around. This is money grabbing at its best. In future I will be booking a hotel elsewhere.

Cons: Everything - particularly staff training
Location: Nothing - it was gatwick Airport
£25 to park for one night - unclear on website. Staff didn't care. Staff dropped a glass behind the bar that smashed all over the guest area arand the staff just laughed. Lack of choice for food and most wasn't available. Over priced food and drink. Awful, over-priced breakfast too. Overall, dreadful.

Great location to Gatwick airport

Cons: Restaurant food was not very good for the price.
The staff was great and accommodation was good. The best thing was they accepted us for a very early check-in with no charge. This was great since we just got in from North America and is a reason I would definitely come back. The restaurant food was not the best and over priced for the quality.

Pros: Location, cleanliness and friendliness of staff.
Location: We could walk to the car rental at the airport.
Shuttle service was good. Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were so helpful.

Alright for the one night stay over before you fly, off for your holiday, but I do not agree with the high charge for the car park a little steep and also the entrance To get in late at night not easy to find,we went past it and had to double check to see it.

Hotel near the airport

Pros: Proximity to the airport terminals
Cons: heating/air conditioning in the rooms and more transparent prices
The hotel is situated conveniently near both north and south terminals.We checked late in the evening and everything was done efficiently.However the room air conditioning/heating was quite noisy and the quality of air from not very good. Both Expedia and the hotel failed to inform me that parking was chargeable overnight at a rate of almost half the cost of the overnight stay!, very unimpressed with these hidden charges and expected better of Expedia.

We found this a very convenient hotel close to Gatwick airport, offering comfort and cleanliness at a reasonable rate. Overnight car parking fees were a little on the expensive side at £25 per night.

Location: watch the planes take off and land !!!!
Arriving at the Marriott we were informed that there was a £25 charge for parking our car in their car park. This information was not available either from Expedia or the hotel at the time of booking. So for early departure there is no time for any alternative option. A fact I'm sure the hotel is perfectly aware off. Bad choice - will not book this hotel or use Expedia again

Conveniently close to airport (walking distance)

Location: Close to train station, to get into London
Was not happy that I had to pay a £50 deposit for every night I stayed there. Also room was not clean, wallpaper damaged in many places, and TV did not work. Manager came to check on our request and we got upgraded. This room was fine. Staff was helpful overall.
