There were Mice in my room. during my stay: 1) the phone wasn’t working despite my report, 2) the elevator was out of order, causing inconvenience for my dad with heart issues, 3) the shower was not functioning, 4) only one of the broken heaters was fixed, leaving the room cold, and 5) there were mice in the room. I had to move due to this issue, and my belongings were affected.

Due to ongoing works exterior to our hotel this caused various disruptions, of which was further addressed to yourself and family on site and in response to your emails. Our lift, beyond the control and scope of the hotel, was isolated in accordance with our health and safety regulations. However we are pleased to confirm this was restored momentarily thereafter. Regrettably, maintenance could not access your room due to the nature of your do not disturb sign, of which your privacy was respected. We are pleased to confirm a change of room was provided to which these concerns were not faced further. Regardless, we are continuously working to improve and apologise for any inconvenience that may have been caused. We hope you enjoyed your time in London nonetheless.

Do not stay at this property. It was dirty and moldy and the bathroom showers failed to work. The elevator was broken the entire time.

Me and my family was staying in for a week.Rooms clean,comfortable and cozy,breakfast EXCELLENT,so much choice for the breakfast.Stuff AMAZING,very friendly,respectful.Cleaning lady Mahima so sweet,lovely, respectful,with smile all the time,one big thanks to her and all other staff. I would highly recommend Brunel hotel,location is the best,close to transportation and shops as well. I would definitely stay in again!

Picked this property because they had an elevator in the description and this was critical for me and travel partner. They had a reasonable cost so I booked two rooms for they are limited for two bed options. Very disappointed elevator out of service and no estimate when it would be repaired. Excuse was it was near the holidays (17th Dec) and could not find a repair person. Were there 3 days and did not see anyone attempting to repair. They accommodated us with rooms on the second floor. They also had someone help carry out bags up and down. Did not like having to climb stairs up and down to restaurant and entry area.

Everything in this hotel is small - but in a great way. The rooms are small but comfortable. The elevator is tiny but fun - the kids loved it! Breakfast area is very small, but the staff is SO GOOD at keeping food flowing and keeping tables cleaned/cleared so everyone can sit down. The food was top rate - REAL EGGS which is a rarity in any hotel. We'd absolutely stay again!

The quality of decor furniture fittings and facilities throughout the hotel is excellent.The bathroom and shower were excellent and the beds were very comfy though narrow . Double twin room was very small and my partner had to clamber over my bed to get in and out. Loo paper was very poor quality . wardrobe was filled with a fridge and safe so virtually no hanging space and one small drawer. only one chair in room and no shelf by sink for toiletries. Breakfast menu mainly very good continental choice or ,for hot breakfast ,choice of eggs frankfurters and baked beans . No English breakfast.

This hotel is hideous. Bad service from staff and they don’t share important information that you need to know. Rooms are dirty and they no AC! Filthy and noisy place. A waste of money.

The location is great. But the staff not so. They gave us a room without AC! And when I complained the guy at reception goes we don’t advertise ac so that what we have! The night came and I was sowing out of heat! So I called special to see if I can maybe cancel my reservation and go elsewhere. That when all of a sudden they do have other rooms with AC! They didn’t give me the option to move into a room with AC until 2 days later other wise they wanted me to pay more! But the night guy when he came into the room and saw how terrible it was he tried to help out by bringing those exterior AC’s when needed to have the hot air come out of the window( the windows don’t open! But like 2 in!) so he tried to squeeze it out of there for like an hr. Then the power cord wasn’t long enough and they didn’t have an extension cord. So I have to move my bed to the middle of the room to allow that ac to connect! So I would say my experience was terrible!! They guy midday is the worst. He doesn’t try to help in anyways. Says most hotels in London doesn’t have ac. I stayed in 3 other ones and they all had ac’s!! I saw 3 other families having issues with them! Will never stay there again

It was a good location if you’re interesting in being close to Hyde Park and Buckingham Palace. The facility is old so it made a lot of noise at night and the road it was on was also extremely loud. Only one light worker in the room.

It was a Great Stay!
What made my stay great were the staff members of this hotel. On the day of check in, I was advised that the lift is broken and there will be a team member who will take the suitcase up for me. The breakfast was a bonus and enjoyed it. What made such a big difference is the Receptionist Blessita who was very helpful and understanding. 10 minutes prior to check out, my massive suitcase was damaged and I had to buy an emergency suitcase immediately. She accommodated me by extending my check out so I can buy a suitcase. Once I finally checked out she was very kind to offer tea as she can see how stressed I was. Even the housekeeper was very understanding and helpful. Overall, everyone in Brunel Hotel were amazing even the night Receptionist and the guy who brought my suitcase up to the staff in the Breakfast room. My room was cosy and I enjoyed my stay! Thank you! 🙏❤️

We attended for a family stay and it was great that the hotel had a room to accommodate a family of 5. When we arrived, the staff were friendly, and we were able to check in earlier than planned which was amazing! The hotel itself is a 2-minute walk from Paddington station so excellent for getting out and about in London. We were disappointed with the cleanliness of the room, in particular the shower. The Shower door kept coming off the rails which was concerning as we had young children with us. It was however fixed promptly when we highlighted it. The breakfast was extremely disappointing. There were not enough tables for all guests and on one occasion my husband had to take food and sit in the hotel reception to eat whilst 3 of us took food upstairs. We were unable to book a breakfast time slot, so it was luck as to whether you got a seat. A disappointing selection of breakfast food with only eggs and beans as the hot option, alongside pastries and toast. When we were 4 days into our stay, we were advised the hotel had overbooked and requested we move to x2 separate rooms. Unfortunately, this was not suitable, and we had booked this hotel specifically as it accommodated 5 of us in the one room. The hotel blocked our cards, and we were unable to get into our room until we spoke to them which I though was rude and totally unacceptable. We had a great time in London but would not return to this hotel.

Our continental breakfast also offers a wide selection of choices regarding hot and cold options as well cereals, freshly baked pastries, juices, yoghurts and more. We apologise if these options were not to your liking. We also apologise for any and all miscommunication regarding moving rooms as you were allocated a suite room for the entirety of your time with us. We are however pleased to hear that our staff were able to go above and beyond in meeting your requests as well any/all maintenance concerns fixed immediately. The photos are very deceiving. Maybe we got a more run down room, but our bathroom looked older and was dirty. Location was great, but that is all I could really say about it. We should have known considering the price. This is what we get for booking lodging last minute.
