Not Sure How This Hotel Gets 7.3?
1. Recption staff very friendly, and helpfull. 2. Room was crammed with one small double, and a single bed, with no room between them to walk. 3. Nowhere for clothes except your case. 4. Curtains too small for window. 5. Curtain rails need a regular polish so you can actually pull them. 6. Pillows tiny, asked for extra one, said yes, never appeared! 7. Shower door hanging off. 8. Shower very grubby. 9. Hotel plumbing can't cope with more than one shower at a time, runs hot and cold. 10. Rooms not cleaned properly, old tissues on window cill behind headboard. 11. How quickly we have all forgotten about COVID? 12. £85 pp/pn Outside of London I would not pay more than £20 for a room in a hotel like this, and that would include breakfast. 13. Goodness knows what foregin visitors must think of standards in the UK.

Ideal BST stopover for Hyde Park
Welcoming team who delivered a great stay for our family over the BST festival in Hyde Park. Super clean, comfortable bed, good pillows, clean towels and a pedestal fan, fridge and everything we needed for our stay. We will be returning when we are next in town.

Very small single room but was clean and comfortable. Good shower and comfy bed. Instead of a microwave which took up a lot of space, could've done with better tea making facilities (was only 1 teabag, no milk, no glass etc). Friendly staff and very convenient location. Enjoyed my stay.

A lovely welcome from the ‘Owner’ and staff and very helpful throughout. 2 minute walk from Paddington. Twin room was small (reflected in price) but spotless and we were only in there to sleep. Excellent shower. Room also had a microwave. Would definitely use again.

Really cheap - so you can’t expect much. Friendly staff and of course excellent location. I didn’t mind the holes in the sheets and general drabbyness of the room but please use anti mould spray in the bathroom! It was gross! And easy to fix

Staff very serviceable but location is not good if you are planning to go visit the palace or tourist areas. Hotel needs to update furniture and does not have elevators.

If you like to be near the Palace there are five hotels in Park Lane but you have to pay more than 600.00 per night. Ok, so this hotel is a little dated and the room was small but it it had everything you needed for a couple of nights away. Bed was comfy, there was tea, coffee and sugar provided. The staff were all very friendly. This hotel was in a great location, just a short walk from Paddington station. Would definitely stay here again

Stairs to our room are unsafe for older folks. Handicapped people should not book a room. Rooms barely large enough for two twin beds. The worst place we have stayed during our three weeks in UK. Do not book a room at this location.

Loved the staff but our room was so small that there was no enough room for our bags and the two of us. Literally we could just barely walk around the beds. There was a second door that separated our bedroom from the foyer where the bathroom door was. Very strange. We tied it back with an extra charging cord which gave us more space. The bed was comfy and we slept well. The one serious issue we had is bars on our window. A serious safety issue. On a good note, the hotel is in a great location near Paddington Station and a great Lebeanese restaurant. If you don’t need a spacious room, this is ideal.

Warm and nice stay
Great stay! What a pleasure to be greeted by the owner of this hotel. Very nice staff, there was a front desk man that spoke Portuguese which is our primary language and we were very pleased with that. The room and bathroom were warm and just what we needed. Best location, around the corner from Paddington station and buses routes. Many many options of food and nice gift shops in the area. Paddington is in zone 1 and very safe. Really enjoyed our accommodation and the way we were treated by the owner, his wife and the other members of the staff. Thank you!

You have to wait for breakfast. To little space in the breakfast area. The manager/owner kindly asks you to leave the breakfast area and finish your coffee elsewhere. Our room was dirty and had several mouse traps in it. The hot water was not running well. Location is great.

Staff is polite. Bed is comfortable. Toilet is draining well but slight dusty at corner but is ok for me. Breakfast spread is adequate. There is no elevator but is alright for me because bag not too heavy. Might not be convenient if you have leg pain

It was a horrible experience. We could not sleep at night as the bed was so narrow for two people. Internet actually does not exist despite their advertising. I phoned the receptionist and he didn’t bother.

Near train station and many point of interests like Hyde Park, Hop on Hop off stop and Princess Diana Memorial Fountain. Breakfast comes with your stay. There is no lift but help from staff staffs is readily available. Clean. My wife and I stayed seven nights and had no issues about anything.

Not Perfect but Satisfied
As a solo traveller staying for 4 nights I just needed something budget and basic but with an en-suite. Having read numerous reviews I knew to expect no lifts or tea/coffee facilities in the room. I was on the top floor and as I'm able bodied this wasn't an issue, if you had mobility issues this isn't the hotel for you. The guy on Reception was friendly enough and though small, my single room was clean, as was my bathroom. The bed was comfortable enough and I slept well. Checking in and out was easy enough and the building easy to locate, and close enough to Paddington Station as well as not too bad walking distance from most Attractions. I understand that it isn't something they do, but I do believe that investing in some Tea facilities will just be a decent final touch to the rooms, then it would be everything a visitor needs for a cheap but comfy stay - plenty of fast food nearby so was no issue bringing a meal home at the end of the night. Overall, it was a perfectly reasonable hotel for my needs and would happily consider staying again when I visit around this time next year on my annual London visit.

Good location, but not a great hotel.
Location is great, close to paddington station, breakfast was ok but breakfast room was so small twice there were no tables for to sit At. The rooms and bathrooms so small It was not comfortable. The staff are nice, but I would never stay here again.

very convenient to Paddington station and the Tube lines, plenty of dining options, near Hyde Park, & Bayswater, great walking area, but beware of drivers. the breakfasts are ok, not much on offer, but i'm not usually up that early anyway. had a few loud neighbors, also some folks (staff?) smoking out in an outdoor area not far from my door so I could smell smoke & overheard them chatter, other than that would recommend.

The hotel staff were friendly and nice. But the room area for my family of 3 was just too small e.g. not even sufficient space for placing our luggages. The breakfast room is home like, though the variety of food is limited. Worst still, there is no lift available and guests have to carry the heavy luggages for a few floors to the room.

Close to the the Paddington underground is the only bonus to this property. Otherwise you pay for what you get. The quad room is tiny, no AC so in the hot weather it’s unbearable, given a fan that hardly worked, had to leave the window open all night and so couldn’t sleep because it was so loud outside. The bathroom with shower is just enough so you can stand as with the rest of the property. The breakfast is minimal. We checked out early so we could transfer to another hotel we could actually have a proper nights sleep in.
