The hotel was not far from the shops, two underground stations and the main train station. The hotel was small since it was in a city but nicely done. The staff were helpful with special requests. The only thing is the walls are paper thin and I could hear what was going on next door..... At least ...
The staff was wonderful and very helpful. I am a light sleeper and there was tok much road noise all night. We had an accessible room and it would be great for someone who needs it.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, located close to where we needed to be. Evening meal in the brasserie was very nice. Staff were really polite and helpful apart from miserable night porter hence 4/5. Would stay here again.
My only concern about staying in London boutique hotels is that I always arrive via overnight flights from Boston in the mornings, very tired, and often rooms are not available for early check-in (much easier at larger hotels). Everything was fabulous from the minute you walk into the lobby and check in. The food is fantastic, staff are friendly and knowledgeable, they treat you with care and the décor is funky, fun and relevant. Tons of detail in the room which makes for a really great stay.
