Truly like having an apartment in the city. We got tired long ago of going out to eat every afternoon and night. Here we prepped lunches and cooked dinners on most nights (we stayed for a week.) There was also a washer for our clothes (no dryer, but a drying rack and plenty of living-room space worked well). The only downside is that Oslo has no sound ordinances, and people rev no-muffler motorcycles throughout the night until 4am in the summer that would get them arrested in any other sane city.

Good restaurants nearby and supermarket. Bed was very soft. Well equipped kitchen some cups were chipped. Some noise from bin area in middle of the night.

My stay at the Scandic Victoria was great, it fit my needs for my 2 night stay. From its great location to the staff, my experience at the hotel was amazing. The hotel is on the older side and the gym is on the smaller side. Additionally, you need to tap your card on the door scanner of your room in order to lock it otherwise it won’t lock. Still, I’d very much recommend this hotel to someone if they were planning on staying in Oslo.

Great central location for walking to shops, the Munch museum and library. Restaurants and malls are also walking distance. We took the hop-on hop-off bus to the KNO-Tiki and Viking museums and the Norsk Folkemuseum. Location makes this hotel a winner!
