"It was a nice place to stay, staff were friendly and helpful! Lots of stairs and no lift, and of course our bags were heavy so the staff kindly carried them up for us. Nice bar- good drinks. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay again as long as my family continues to be able to manage stairs. "

"The Summer Isles Hotel was a wonderful experience. We were given the Chaplin room dedicated and styled in black and white to honour Charlie Chaplin. The atmosphere which was thereby created was superb. The almost 45 minute drive from Ullapool along a single track road was worth it for the tranquillity, quality of the hotel and beauty of the area. The staff throughout were excellent with particular appreciation of the helpfulness of Alex and Rachel. The restaurant chefs also did a great job with locally sourced ingredients. One day we would love to return."

"The cottage is on a hill side overlooking the harbour and the views from the small deck are beautiful at anytime.the drive up to the cottage is extremely steep and narrow and the turning point at the top is limited. Inside the cottage is spacious and light, but some areas need an update, especially the kitchen. The weather was good and we enjoyed our time there."
