This freshly and lovingly renovated 50 year old traditional Mexican house has come alive with the owners love of colour and collection of art and objects from around the world. In the spring of 2024 I built myself a small casita at the very back of the property behind the banana and guava trees. I had the pleasure of staying in this delightful place and enjoyed every minute. It’s in the heart of the lovely little Mexican village of Lo de Marcos and everything the village has to offer – food shops, restaurants, coffee shops, pharmacies, and even a hardware store – is just a short walk away. The space has wonderfully designed indoor and outdoor living. as well as a huge back yard. The whole place is walled and I felt safe and secure. The kitchen was well appointed so cooking was enjoyable too. And the bonus was that the beautiful, uncrowded beach was just a five-minute walk along the main street. This is definitely where I’ll stay the next time I’m in Lo de Marcos. ##### Diane C.
