"We had a lovely stay it was very clean and everything you needed apart from a gas cooker. Beatrice was lovely and very welcoming the only thing we was a little uncomfortable with was we felt we was living with her as she was next door and her balcony was right next to ours. It was more a guest room than an apartment with her being next to us. We couldn't relax thinking tv might be to loud, or music not that we have it on loud but we was still worried. Also could do with sweeping brush and hoover so you can keep on top of floors whilst there and we didn't want to mither as we was there for 5 days. Apart from that we loved being able to just walk down to the water with our morning coffee in our pyjamas so relaxing, just in the room could of done with abit more privacy for us anyway. I do recommend if you don't really watch TV or listen to music and maybe not a young couple."

"Very high spec and spotless. A beautiful cottage, massive fridge freezer which is always a good bonus! All mod cons with dishwasher and washing machine etc. Also a lovely outdoor area for BBQ and eating. Views to die for and other than sheep, no passing traffic."

"Stayed here with friends for a long weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed the house and it's facilities. Waving to the tourists in the using trains was very popular A very minor thing, but it would be nice to have larger bath towels."

"A cosy, well equipped cottage in beautiful countryside. The welcome pack was much appreciated, showing care and thoughtfulness from the owners. Various birds visited the well placed bird feeder and gave us great pleasure. A woodpecker and a nuthatch were particular favourites.A peaceful, relaxing break."

"It is a lovingly extended stone cottage between a fast moving stream with a view and a country road. A very well equipped home from home , a perfect base for up to 4 ppl to explore the area. The owner is very responsive, and found her more reliable than the company managing the property.the "
