Top Llangefni Hotel Reviews

Belmont Llandudno

Belmont Llandudno

8/10 Good
"This is a great hotel in a fabulous position just off the sea front. The staff were all friendy and extremely helpful. Nice modern decor throughout and some thoughtful little extras like a room fan, eye mask and ear plugs. Housekeeping was good, everything was nice and clean in our room. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice of both gold and hot food. The only thing that has stopped me giving this hotel an excellent rating was the size of our room, which was snug, and a couple if minor maintenance issues. We will definitely stay again, next time I will book earlier and go for one of the larger rooms. A really good find."

"Lovely quiet location for a good nights sleep . Large room with a balcony was appreciated with the weather being so hot . Nice to have free parking as I know it would have been very difficult in Conwy or Llandudno . Good cooked breakfast"

"The hotel itself is over 100 years old I think, so has a quaint atmosphere. Staff were really helpful and location was perfect. Sea view was mesmerising."

St George's Hotel

St George's Hotel

8/10 Good
"Very nice room. Good food although the menu needs some variety over the several days we were there. Parking was truly awful. I have a blue badge and the only way I could get one of the two available was to get into an available space early and then don’t move the car. Accessibility was quite poor with a general lack of usable rails on the steps. Staff were very good and helpful."

The Bull Hotel

The Bull Hotel

8/10 Good
"This is a positive review with a couple of caviats. The Stsndsrd apartment with courtyard view location was perfect and the apartment was very clean with nice kitchenette and good sized bathroom however it was advertised as having a double and two single beds and when we arrived late afternoon discovered it only had one single bed and a sofa bed, which was extremely uncomfortable. We were left with no option to accept as to find other accomodation at this late stage would have been neigh on impossible so reluctantly accepted. After complaints to the owners this has now been amicably addressed and I am told the sofa bed has been replaced as it should not have been removed in the first place. The parking was tight but if full there was a large car park next door which was free for overnight parking. Tea and coffee making facilities were very welcome as was the kitchette. Restaurant was hit and miss and did not appear to serve breakfasts during our stay but there are a few cafes and takeaways locally and pub food all less than 20 minutes by car. The Bull itself seemed to be a popular local and everybody appeared to be friendly and welcoming. All in all I would recommend this as a base to tour Anglesey and North West Wales or enroute to Ferry crossings as it appeared some of the clients were."

Tre-Ysgawen Hall

Tre-Ysgawen Hall

8/10 Good
"Bed room clean. Mattress and pillows on the hard side. Shower room sensors stayed on all night so did not sleep very well. Noise and banging throughout the night, from the dining room below I think, dragging of chairs. Bathroom had recycled soap dispensers with clogged shampoo. Would have been nice to have had small unopened mini bottles for hygiene purposes. Fantastic evening meal and breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely hotel."
