Tram Station Cottage Llandudno

Waterfront Cottage with kitchen and patio
Set on the lower slopes of the Great Orme, Tram Station Cottage offers comfort, convenience, privacy and magnificent 180 degree views of Llandudno bay, town and Conwy mountains in the distance.

Comfort is assured in this detached four-star, three-bed cottage with two en-suites and a luxury family sized bathroom with roll-top bath and separate shower cubicle.

Luxury duck-down bedding and mattress toppers enable you to customise the firmness of your bed.

Leather sofas, plasma tv, solid oak furnishings and a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, digital radio, unlimited wifi and a double aspect wood burning stove combine ensure maximum comfort in the open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen space.

Oak flooring and furniture throughout with carpets to the bedrooms - all on the same level.

Location, location, location! At the private gated entrance to the cottage are three local treasures 1) the Kings Head tavern and restaurant - the oldest tavern in Llandudno, 2) 'Fish Tram Chips' -an award-winning fish and chip shop and restaurant and 3) the Victoria tram station and cafe - where you embark on a steep ride up the Great Orme. In fact, Tram Station Cottage takes its name from its famous neighbour - the Victorian tram.

Parking is a premium in Llandudno but the cottage has parking for three cars behind a private gated drive.

Privacy is paramount on your holiday. Outside, three private gardens enclose the Cottage. To the left is your own private BBQ patio area with views over the west shore and Conwy; to the right, a private lawned garden with summer house and decked patio area looking down into stunning Llandudno bay and town. Mature shrubs and plants enclose this south facing cottage. There is ample seating throughout the gardens to follow the sun all day long. Secure storage facilities also available for bikes and buggies.

Please note that whilst the cottage is all on one level on the very lower slopes of the Great Orme, it might not be appropriate for the less-abled because of its elevated position.

5/5 Excellent

Great, spacious property
An excellent, spacious, well-equipped property. Bonuses are, the outdoor garden space and private parking. Lovely views with easy access to beaches, walks and shops. Julian was an excellent host, checking everything was ok after the first day. A most enjoyable holiday.

Beautiful property in a great location
We went back for a second time after a great experience last year. The property is very well finished, clean, modern and tastefully decorated. Having three shower rooms/bathrooms were ideal for a family with teenagers and the kitchen was well equipped. There is a pleasant view over the promenade and the hills, and the house/garden catches plenty of sun. The owner is very responsive and welcoming. We definitely recommend staying here.

Great place to stay
Had no previous knowledge of Llandudno but loved it there. So much to do and see. Cultural and history, natural paradise, sea side stuff and good road access from afar. Slightly spoiled by Covid but great weather was a bonus.

Lovely cottage in great location with beautiful views
The cottage had all we needed for a family of 9mth baby ,3 year old ,parents and grandparents.Being open plan and all on one level it was ideal.Very comfortable and all needed in kitchen. The garden was great with lots of places to sit, summer house and fantastic views. 3 bathrooms with 3 showers and 1 bath was great...No queues and lots of hot water.Location was close to sea and lots of shops and restaurants.Parking for 3 cars a plus in such a busy town. Service from Julian and team was prompt and friendly.Highly recommend this place and hope to return.Tram fish shop and Kings head 2 minutes walk away gave great food. Visit on open top bus to Conwy was worthwhile as was the great Orme.We went to Portmerion which was one hour away and worth a visit.Llandudno is such a lovely town with pier showing great views and lovely prom to walk along fronted by impressive looking buildings.
