Finally I had to call the website and at last located someone who could help and so I could arrange checking in etc. However there was no information available in the house about either workings of the house itself (lights, locks etc) or local contacts and possible places to visit (which would have been nice). The only time we met someone who appeared to know anything about the house and woman...

"The staff is very helpful and welcoming, even with my very late evening check in. I appreciated their warm greetings. The location was not ideal for my short stay, but it was clean - a few things needed repair (door frame and bathroom shower doors were extremely hard to open and shut), but it was mostly clean (the shower floor was questionable) and quiet. Breakfast was nice and I was thankful for easy & close parking. The address on Hotels.com is wrong, I got lost getting there. Take the address from their website."
