"Here for three nights. Comfy bed, upper floor so the sun streamed in our windows, maybe a couple of issues with the toilet flush but, otherwise, an excellent stay. Breakfast was hot and ample. The ground floor bar was convenient and staff were great. Ate one evening in the ground floor Italian restaurant. Staff were great there too, food was good, the white wine wasn't chilled."

"Lovely hotel and the room was fantastic. The complimentary items were a great surprise! Location is ideal and safe. Staff very friendly. Only thing I’d improve would be the cost of parking for guests as at £14 a night it’s quite steep."

"Clean room which was very comfortable. Nice little extras like the proper Yorkshire tea and local shortbread biscuits. Loved the nod to the areas history in the art work so didn’t feel like a typical chain hotel, felt a little bit like a boutique hotel. Staff were very helpful. Food and service in the bar was good too. Would definitely stay there again"

"All the rooms have excellent views out over Leeds, all public spaces are clean, curated and comfortable. The location near the train station and the main city thoroughfares is perfect for a night out or a short break. We didn’t have breakfast this time (our choice) but from previous experience we would recommend including this in your stay."

"We were attending a wedding reception and stayed the night in a room on first floor. I must say the staff were amazingly helpful especially Mike (the manager) and Faith the bartender. Mike helped us with the smooth check in and also with scissors and cellophane tape when asked. He was very kind to stay quite late to help calling an ambulance for one of our injured guests. Faith helped me providing a glass of warm milk at almost midnight for our little one and also taught us the Saturday night signature step during the DJ 😃 In all honesty the rooms were spacious with good height clearance and the service provided was superb especially when we ordered breakfast to our room. Highly recommend this hotel because of cleanliness, good quality food and service!"
