Very quiet at this hotel and extremely well cleaned. Fridge, microwave and Nespresso were an exceptional bonus. Bed was comfortable. Just round the corner from hustle and bustle of shops, cafes, bars etc the Resident Hotel retains an air of peace and stillness. Close to Liverpool Lime Street and Liverpool Central train stations. Will definitely be heading back to this hotel.

Stayed at The Resident twice with my 12 year old son for a trip to see Liverpool and we really enjoyed our stay. The location of the hotel is great. It is walkable to everything, with great dining options within minutes. The area is a club and bar area but the two rooms we stayed were quiet from outside noise. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We did have a night of some rowdy patrons but I don't think you can pin that on the hotel. Staff promptly dealt with the problem. Overall, would recommend staying here.

We had a great time in Liverpool. The staff at the hotel was excellent. They provided us with lots of ideas for places to see in Liverpool and were very helpful with all our needs. The area sround the hotel has lots of pubs and music venues, but the hotel was still quiet at night

The only thing that could make this property better is an actual bar in the lobby area. The staff was wonderful providing beer, wine and a limited menu ... but I simply love a hotel bar!

The hotel is nice with well appointed rooms and the inclusion of a cupboard kitchenette is handy. Staff were friendly and helpful and booking was easy. The location is very convenient for Albert Dock and the museums, Liverpool One and a 20 walk to either cathedral. There are loads of bars and restaurants around the hotel but this is a double edged sword. Great for eating out but it does mean you get to listen to the bass of music and people coming out of the clubs at half two in the morning! Fine if you are a reasonably heavy sleeper or have ear plugs but not one I could recommend for light sleepers.

From the greeting on our first day to our check out on our last the staff were amazing. Shout out to Cole on the front desk for recognizing I was exhausted and offered a coffee. Her smile each day made us feel we were at home. The Resident never disappoints. Home away from home. Looking forward to our fourth visit next year!

This place was incredible! Maria was so sweet, as were her colleagues. Everyone was very helpful, considerate, and kind. I very much enjoyed my stay & would totally stay again! Liverpool was truly amazing! My only qualm is that there is a fair amount of litter on the streets, which I am not used to, but The Resident was top-notch. 10/10 recommend!

Brilliant staff, from the email I received when I booked asking if I needed anything, to the check in staff asking about my plans to see if I needed help, to the room service staff being friendly and helpful when I saw them. As I checked out, a staff member was helping another guest arrange activities for the day and was looking up opening times and transport. Every interaction I had with the staff was spot on and above expectations. The room was great, comfortable, comfy bed, lots of cushions, clean, warm and quiet. I don't understand the kitchenette thing in a hotel room, but it was nice to have the fridge to keep some beers in! There are even ice machines out in the corridors. Very good location, close to the centre so easy to get around, but quiet on the street. Very happy with my visit, it's a great hotel and I will happily stay here again next time I visit Liverpool.

Wide range of eating facilities all around, despite none being offered at the hotel itself. I went Greek (we are in a Port City after all, and Thai; Aros was even recommended by a rival eatery. The skewers and sweets were like being back in the Port ot Athen (Pireus?)

Great stay in this hotel. Very close to nightlife if that’s what you are in too. Friday and Saturdays are very busy !

Amazing hotel, really friendly staff and a lovely room with a mini-kitchen which was super useful. The staff were wonderful - extremely helpful, friendly and with lots of local knowledge and recommendations. Would definitely stay again.

Booked superior room to have a little more room to hang out in but was in loft space so sloped walls meaning floor space big but practical space compromised by lack of head room, so constantly feeling like when you turn round you might bang your head. Some will absolutely love the quirkiness so appreciate it depends what you like
