Just before this trip I threw out my back but I had not thought about what that might mean. There is a portion of this hotel that is a walk up, which is where I was to stay. The hotel was full and I could not be moved. Luckily for me the woman at the concierge desk found someone to bring my bags up for me and when I left the gentleman who processed my checkout also brought my bags down for me.
The room was comfortable, though it is small. There's room for the bed, one nightstand on one side, a wardrobe, a desk and chair. One side of the bed was pushed up against one of the walls. The bathroom could use a little updating, one of my tiles was loose but didn't cause me any grief.
The location is good, walkable down to Liverpool City Centre but I generally took a taxi back up to the hotel because it is uphill and it can get a bit steep.
There was a larger breakfast available for more money. I took it one day, there were a lot of options even before the Full Breakfast arrived.
Overall, it was an acceptable room for the price.
